Macmillan Part Time Sales Coordinator (Temp) in New York, New York
Macmillan is seeking a temp to support the children's sales department in the maitenance and sell-in of trade wholesale accounts. This role would include preparing for sales calls with two major wholesale accounts; account sales analysis and projections for all children's titles; and ad hoc projects set by the Associate Director, Sales Strategy and Analysis and the Vice President of Children's Sales.
Applicants should have strong skill and proficiency with Microsoft Suite, especially Excel. Experience with children's publishing and trade wholesalers a plus.
This will be a part time temp positions for 15-20 hours a week.
What you'll do:
Work with in-house sales team to acquire, analyze, and distribute sales data
Assist with sales call preparation and estimates for upcoming seasons
Work on ad hoc projects for the Associate Director, Sales Strategy and Analysis as well as the Vice President of Children’s Sales
Assist with customer service requests and issues
What you'll bring:
Complete knowledge of the Microsoft Office; Google Suites of programs
Excellent organizational and writing skills
- At least 1-2 years of trade publishing experience is preferred
