The Patient Care AdvocateSupervisor at Progyny is a pivotal role responsible for leading and guiding a team of Patient Care Advocates (PCAs) to deliver exceptional member experiences. As a Patient Care Advocate Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a high level of service quality by managing metrics, performance criteria, policies, and procedures, while fostering a productive and achievement-oriented environment. You will report to your manager and collaborate closely with your team to achieve performance goals.

What you will do...

  • Coach and mentor PCAs to ensure they consistently deliver high-quality member experiences.

  • Oversee and lead a team of PCAs to maintain a productive and high-energy work environment.

  • Recognize and reward achievements while addressing performance gaps through coaching, training, or disciplinary action when necessary.

  • Monitor attendance, adherence, and compliance with company policies and procedures.

  • Prepare and present regular updates and insights to leadership regarding team performance and operational metrics.

  • Facilitate and contribute to projects and tasks assigned by Manager(s) to support team objectives.

  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find effective solutions to challenges.

  • Efficiently manage multiple projects simultaneously with ease.

  • Collaborate with Workforce Management (WFM) to ensure that all calls are answered within our service levels.

  • Enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain consistency and quality of work.

  • Addressing member escalations is to ensure member satisfaction and resolving issues effectively.

  • Maintain accurate records of team performance, coaching sessions, and other relevant documentation.

  • Generate reports and analysis to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify trends or areas of improvement.

About you...

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.

  • 1-2 years of proven experience in a supervisory or people management role, preferably in a customer service or operations environment.

  • Knowledge of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and experience in process improvement initiatives is a plus

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate accurately and concisely.

  • Ability to remain calm when faced with challenges

  • Ability to make and implement tough decisions

  • Ability to effectively manage evolving priorities, multiple projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $30.00/hour - $35.00/hour. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
