The Patient Care Advocate reports into the Manager of Member Services. The ideal candidate is a proactive person, with excellent communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude. The candidate will be responsible for using their excellent customer relations and patient care experience to handle conversations with members. The Patient Care Advocate role can consist of onboarding new members to the Progyny benefit and interacting with existing members to assist them with ideal use of the Progyny benefit based on their specific journey. This is a highly administrative position that involves strong attention to detail, prioritization and organization. This role is a call center position and the Patient Care Advocate will interact with members telephonically.

What you will do...

• Own the Progyny member relationship for specific clients including but not limited to; onboarding, scheduling appointments, providing educational resources, etc.
• Provide ongoing concierge service for members telephonically as well as via email
• Address member inquiries and proactively research high quality solutions to present.
• Work cross-functionally with internal teams to adequately handle member escalations and inquiries
• You will serve as a liaison between members and clinics, including scheduling appointments
• Maintain member satisfaction by answering member's questions via call or email

About you...

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills - ability to communicate accurately and concisely
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate good judgment
• Knowledge of fertility industry and patient procedures required
• Highly organized, quick learner, with ability to multitask and prioritize work effectively
• Ability to remain calm when faced with challenges
• Ability to make and implement tough decisions
• Strong communication and presentations skills.

• Prior experience in insurance or call center environments
• Prior experience in fertility
• Must be available to work 12-9 EST
• Nursing degree and active nursing license
• Active license as a clinical social worker, doula, or fertility consultant
• Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Ability to effectively manage evolving priorities, multiple projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $20.00/hour - $35.00/hour. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
