Neuberger Berman Portfolio Associate in New York, New York
- Provide comprehensive support to seasoned Wealth Advisor Team in servicing, maintaining and growing their high net worth book of business.
Regular and proactive contact with high net worth clients and prospects.
Initiate new account opening process through centralized Private Client Services Team.
Perform account maintenance including but not limited to; funds disbursements, name/address changes, giftings, ACATS and DTC transfers, cost updates, billing/fees, client directed orders etc.
Act as a liaison between Wealth Advisor, Neuberger Berman Portfolio Managers, Asset Management Business Control, Private Client Services and internal and external operational groups.
Monitor account activity including trades, cash flows, debits, margin, tech shorts, performance, transfers, allocations, fees etc. by utilizing various in house portfolio systems.
Provide customized reporting and analysis to client or Wealth Advisor team on a regular or ad hoc basis.
Assist with creation of Financial Plans.
Maintain account information and new business pipeline in Salesforce database.
Maintain accurate and detailed client files.
Series 7 and 66 licenses
2-3 years of client service/support or related experience in the financial services industry
Proficiency in MS Office including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook products; familiarity working with financial and marketing databases preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, strong client servicing skills
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Detailed oriented and organized with strong follow-up skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
