The partnership includes a grab and go concept with a variety of fresh food offerings and a full quick service restaurant. With the opportunity of serving up to 10,000 guests 363 days a year, Legends has created a culture of fast and friendly service at the Intrepid.
The Concessions Prep Cook position is responsible for the preparation and cooking of the menu within a given stand/kiosk for Legends Hospitality at the Intrepid: Sea, Air & Space Museum.

Set up allocated stations for menu, as instructed by Kitchen Manager
Inventory product and prepare it according to management and health guidelines
Responsible for cleaning the equipment and cooking area
Perform duties as required to accomplish delivery of concessions/premium menus
Maintain a prepared and sanitary work area at all times
Make sure all storage areas are tidy and all products are stored appropriately
Serve menu items compliant with established standards
Requires basic cooking experience and willingness to learn
Maintain a professional attitude and appearance
Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Ability to walk, reach, stand, bend for long periods of time
Able to operate kitchen equipment in a safe manner
Able to work flexible hours (evenings, weekends, holidays)
Able to work under pressure
Effective interpersonal and verbal communication skills
NY Food Safety Certification a plus
Practice safe work habits, follow all safety policies and procedures and regulations; complete Company-wide safety training and additional job specific safety training
