Microsoft 365 continues to experience incredible growth as the company focuses on its productivity cloud strategy and enabling secure remote work for its customers. As part of Microsoft Engineering, The FastTrack team has a primary role in driving this strategy and is looking for individuals that share in the passion to drive business value and customer success using Microsoft 365 and related technologies.

The FastTrack Shared Services team provides centralized business functions to promote efficiency and improve at-scale services for the FastTrack product. The team owns execution of (1) Scorecard and Workforce Planning, (2) Business Intelligence and (3) Business Operations to maximize ROI impact and create a culture of data-driven decisions.

As the Program Manager for the Scorecard and Workforce Planning workstream, you will combine business strategy & leverage data to enable the organization to start and finish fiscal year strong. The role will work in close partnership with FastTrack Leadership Team, Directly Responsible Individuals (DRIs), Engineering, Program Managers and Delivery Channels to align with business strategy and have end-end understanding of FastTrack priorities.

Responsibilities

Key business metrics & responsibilities will include:

  • Lead Scorecard workstream, ensuring all priorities have clear definitions and targets. Works closely with Regional/Area Managers and Delivery Channels for target distribution and monthly seasonality across Areas (A14) and Enterprise Operating Units (EOUs). Partner with Build and Operations to understand customer pipeline and define KPIs to attain targets.

  • Lead Workforce capacity planning workstream to ensure alignment of resources to business demands. Design, maintain, and validate capacity models to capture resource requirements spanning multiple priorities and personas that result in optimized staffing plan and employee satisfaction. Provide recommendations for budgeting and staffing as an output of workforce capacity models to achieve scorecard objectives.

  • Defines and orchestrate business rules for in-year Governance to implement changes to Scorecard and Workforce capacity that result from incremental approvals and shift in priorities.

  • Drive innovation to modernize workforce capacity tools and maintain tight integration with Finance for budget planning.

  • Execute regular structured rhythm of business, prioritization, and communication plan with all stakeholders.

  • Report progress on a regular basis with FastTrack leadership, program, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

Candidate Competencies:

  • Strong experience in managing relationships with business leaders, leading a complex portfolio of programs, enabling leaders to make data-driven decisions.

  • Experience in leading business analytics related engagements (data analysis and storytelling) with proven understanding of scorecard governance, workforce capacity planning, and budgeting processes.

  • Broad business acumen with the ability to translate abstract thoughts into understandable messages for wider consumption.

  • Demonstrate operational leadership, great interpersonal and communication skills, creativity, flexibility, and above all a passion for customers.

  • Exceptional influence without authority and excellent collaboration skills.

  • Excellent communications and presentation skills – able to present, discuss and articulate challenges and accomplishments to a range of audiences, in a concise and effective manner.

  • Able to deal with ambiguity – can effectively cope with change; can shift gears comfortably; can decide and act without having the total picture; can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot and Formulas)

  • Bachelor’s degree is required. MBA or advanced degree preferred. Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 years of overall technology experience

  • 5 years in business analytics (Data Analysis and Storytelling)

  • 5 years of experience in program management, leading complex initiatives.

  • 3 years managing teams (direct and vendor) leading complex programs.

  • 3 years Microsoft365 or Cloud industry experience.

  • Occasional travel (0-25%) is expected in this role.
