Role Description:
The CTS Content Product Management team is hiring a Principal Product Manager to join the Revere Product Management vertical. The Revere product suite is comprised of several proprietary data offerings, including: Supply Chain Relationships, Shipping Transactions, Geographic Revenue Exposure and Sector Participation. Financial professionals rely on Revere to elucidate the connections between companies and the broader ecosystems in which they operate.

The Principal Product Manager is a seasoned product professional who is responsible for high-impact, high-visibility products. You will engage with clients to find the right problems to solve, define what success looks like, and guide their team to deliver successful outcomes. Identify solutions that are valuable to users, viable for our business, feasible to build, and usable.

Responsibilities:

Insights - Derives insights to support product bets

Understands end-market dynamics, end-user roles and responsibilities, and the competitive landscape. Makes it a priority to build upon this understanding through regular, direct research and engagement with clients and prospective clients.
Responsible for product discovery. Proactively identifies the market and validates the opportunity to prove whether a solution is valuable, viable, feasible and usable before developing it.
Uses data to evaluate and inform strategy and decision making
Strategy - Identifies and articulates a path to achieve results

Defines product strategy, including vision, value proposition and roadmap, in the context of the departmental strategy, overall company strategy, and relevant firm type strategies. Evangelizes strategy across the business unit.
Responsible for product business case development (investment needs, resourcing, KPIs)
Accountable for financial goals, including Annual Subscription Value (ASV) and retention
Partners with Sales and Marketing for Market Validation
Creates product roadmap to align cross-functional teams. Shares timelines for delivery of key milestones, including constraints and dependencies.
Execution - Delivers on product outcomes

Aligns teams to deliver on vision, goals, and strategy
Plans releases, prioritizes features, defines the work and what success looks like.
Clearly defines user needs and acceptance criteria. Interacts regularly with development teams to prioritize needs and provide clarity for iterating on solutions.
Collaborates on go-to-market messaging and activities with Product Marketing and Sales Enablement.
Leadership - Inspires cross-functional teams to achieve great outcomes

Influences and motivates teams, without authority, to achieve product outcomes.
Coaches and mentors team members to develop product expertise.
Takes an expanded role in driving best practice adoption across the department.
Effectively advocates for product funding, resource focus and skill development when needed to support strategic goals.
Required Skills:

Bachelors' degree in STEM, finance, economics, or other relevant field
10+ years experience in strategy, product management or equivalent client side exposure preferably within Fin Tech or Financial Services
Possesses and evangelizes a product mindset. Starts from problems, goals and needs and experiments to find the best solution
Demonstrated autonomy and impact in previous Product roles.
Functional understanding of Data Delivery methods/solutions.
Capable of inspiring a cross-functional team to deliver on the product strategy and vision. Ability to align and influence engineering, design, product marketing and other stakeholders.

Desired Qualifications and Attributes:

Familiarity with query languages (e.g., SQL), common programming languages (e.g., Python) and/or API's.
Knowledge of financial databases used in financial markets.
Knowledge of investment workflows and processes. CFA charterholder (or progress as a candidate) a plus.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

The budgeted salary range for this position in the State of Connecticut and New York City is $140,000 - $185,000.
