ABOUT LOVESHACKFANCY
LoveShackFancy began in 2013 with a beach-to-ballroom hand-dyed halter dress that founder and creative director Rebecca Hessel Cohen made for her bridal party. Over time, that one article of clothing, created to celebrate love, has turned into a world filled with all things romantic, dreamy and drenched in optimism — from clothing to tabletop, bedding, swim, ski, travel accessories, shoes and more.
ROLE OVERVIEW
We are looking for a hardworking and passionate Production/Product Development Intern to join our team this Fall.
This internship is an unpaid role and the candidate MUST receive academic credit as a requirement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sample Maintenace
Update fabric library folders
Attend cross-functional meetings
Create line sheets for customs review
Assist in bom pass off
Assist in fabric and trim sourcing, development, and organization

SKILLS, QUALITIES & BEHAVIOURS
Meticulous, attention to detail, + ability to multitask
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent computer skills and ability to learn new programs quickly
Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and adapt to changing priorities
The candidate should have knowledge of the ecommerce landscape and be familiar with competing brands in the market
Must have clear understanding of the LoveShackFancy brand and aesthetic.

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT INTERN JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-SUPPORT TEAM WITH BOM (BILL OF MATERIALS)
-HELP TRACK SAMPLES (PROTO AND SMS) AND ORGANIZE ON RACK AND BINS
-ASSIST IN UPDATING WIP CHART
-MAKE DOMESTIC RUN IN MIDTOWN (SOURCE FABRIC, GO TO PATTERNMAKERS, GO TO
FACTORIES)
-ATTEND PROTO FITTINGS
-LEARN ABOUT COSTING
-HELP WITH TRIM DEVELOPMENTS (BUTTONS, RIBBONS, ETC)
-SUPPORT FABRIC DEPARTMENT WITH FABRIC ORGANIZATION
-CREATE SEASONAL BINS FOR FABRIC CUTTINGS
-COMMUNICATE WITH FACTORIES ON EMAILS
-BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH CROSS-FUNCTIONAL TEAMS
