Adviser Compliance Associates LLC Product Engineer in New York, New York


The Opportunity: As a Product Engineer you will be responsible for the development and delivery of various initiatives within the Tech Enablement team. This role focuses on the development of scalable cloud-native UI applications built on angular.
What you'll do:

Architect and conceptualize, solution, build, test and release scalable, flexible, clean, and performant code.

Work with product management teams to understand and iterate on functional requirements,

Work with a global team of developers, spearheading smaller tech initiatives and deliver on predefined timelines

Evaluate and build proof-of-concepts with emerging technologies and best practices to be used at enterprise scale

Take ownership of initiatives and the associated code base, being able to explain technical workings in layman's terms with the product team, technical decisions, and learnings to the broader development team

To qualify for the role you must have:

At least two years of professional / enterprise level UI development in angular

Technical experience building angular components under single or multi repo environments

In depth understanding of modern UI patterns including Redux, NGRX, Typescript, HTML5, OpenAPI/OData consumption, containers and presenters

Knowledge of Rxjs (observables), change detection, uni/bi-directional data flow, and reactive forms

Knowledge of front-end tooling, NPM, Yarn, Webpack, etc

Exerpience working with Jasmine, Karma, or Jest

Professional knowledge on various forms of development strategies, driving code standards, peer code reviews, and end to end development to production release experience

Skills and attributes for success:

Motivated to deliver the best possible software solutions in a fast-paced collaborative environment

Proactively learn and experiment with new technologies and mobile development strategies, staying ahead of the curve

Ability to self-manage multiple priorities and understand when to 'switch gears' to unblock others

Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Ideally, you'll also have

Bachelor's Degree in STEM

Experience with Angular Material or DexExtreme components

Understanding of Angular CLI, the build system, and it's configuration

Usage of Google's material design and guidelines

Knowledge in React, Vue, and/or AngularJs

Experience with cross browser responsive web UX with HTML, SASS/CSS, including mixins and media queries
