BrainPOP LLC Product Manager in New York, New York

BrainPOP creates cross-curricular digital content that engages students and supports teachers. We engage students with animated movies, creation and reflection tools, and learning games. And we support teachers with playful assessment tools, lesson plans, and professional development.

Based in the Flatiron District in NYC, BrainPOP is used in over 40% of US elementary and middle schools and welcomes millions of monthly site visitors.

We’re seeking a Product Manager to join our Product team!

In this role, you will:

Lead a squad dedicated to a specific product or feature area, delivering value to our business and our users

Prioritize among competing product, operational, and business imperatives and clearly articulate the rationale behind these decisions

Build and maintain a detailed roadmap using data to inform product decisions

Lead the ideation, development, and launch of innovative features

Prove your hypotheses by designing quick, low-risk tests with clear success metrics

Synthesize market, qualitative, and/or qualitative research into product insights and use them to author requirements

Define KPIs and use them to better understand consumer behavioral patterns

Communicate product vision and progress against business objectives to stakeholders throughout the organization

Deftly manage multiple streams of work to continuously deliver value

Seamlessly collaborate with internal and external partners

On Your Resume:

3-5 years of digital product management experience with a proven track record of shipping and iterating on successful products

Experience partnering with product designers and engineers

Experience authoring user flows, wireframes, and/or mockups

Technical knowledge. You don’t need to be an engineer, but you do need to be technically conversant.

Proficiency in using data tracking and business intelligence platforms

A knack for finding the most important problem amongst a pile of issues

An undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience)

A Strong Plus

An MBA (or equivalent experience)

Education or ed-tech experience

Experience working with remote teams
