We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative and fun loving team members, and are looking for a Production Assistant to come join our New York based headquarters.

The Production Assistant will manage system updates, build collaborative relationships, coordinate interoffice communication and follow-up with external customers. The right individual will be a self-starter interested in joining the start-up world with a readiness to learn and take on more. They must be able to contribute positively to team dynamic and be flexible to changes.

Responsibilities:

ORDER MANAGEMENT

  • Create, revise, and maintain production orders and monitor transmission to factories for mens and womens in all categories

  • Contribute to the seasonal production process by coordinating the placement, execution and follow-up of manufacturing orders and by ensuring the timely delivery of quality, profitable goods.

  • Partner with cross functional partners to confirm accuracy of size breaks, tickets, and item information in the systems (Netsuite & Centric)

  • Perform daily tracking of goods on order, in progress (WIP) and in-transit to ensure timely delivery according to development calendar

  • Create and distribute production status reports; follow-ups with vendors, factories and Design/Merchandising as needed

  • Schedule all final inspection appointments

  • Validate invoices for supervisor?s approval to pay

  • Participate in system improvement meetings and new hire training on of systems

SAMPLE MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinate request and tracking of all TOP and shipment samples

Requirements:

  • BFA or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Business or related field

  • 2+ years of production experience in fashion/retail environment preferred

  • Computer proficiency with MS Office: Outlook, Excel, Word

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail

  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous

  • Excellent time management/project skills

  • Goal orientated; ability to stay focused on creating winning results

  • Excellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environment
