Our team collaborates with product strategy and product managers to govern readiness standards in achieving principles (compliance, privacy, security) by design for what PwC’s technology assets require to be successful in the market. They provide guidance for product development across the lifecycle (ideation / strategy through commercialization / monetization). Additionally, they facilitate market readiness for technology assets overall, as changes occur to assets or market conditions throughout the asset’s life cycle.

  • Understanding and applying technical and operational industry leading practices involving privacy and data regulations/standards to assist PwC teams with assessing privacy and data governance risks for their products;

  • Educating teams on complying with and understanding reputational risk mitigation, emphasizing US and international Privacy, Data Protection and Information laws; and,

  • Implementing and executing on data privacy, governance and/or accessibility programs while identifying efficiencies and working to enhance processes and policies on a go forward basis.

Demonstrates some abilities and/or a proven record of success in solving complex data governance, privacy, and technology issues through a mix of technical and business focused capabilities including:

  • Developing and sustaining a wide-ranging set of technical and data analysis skills;

  • Capturing and communicating business and technical concepts and processes via reports and presentations prepared using firm-issued technology (Microsoft and Google suite of tools);

  • Demonstrating aptitude for conducting quantitative and qualitative analyses of large and complex data (leveraging market leading tools such as Alteryx and Power BI);

  • Applying knowledge and insights on relevant laws, regulations, and leading practices related to cybersecurity, privacy, data and forensics to support data governance transformation;

  • Building relationships;

  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner to deliver clear requests for information;

  • Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks;

  • Understanding personal and team roles;

  • Contributing to a positive working environment by building relationships with team members;

  • Seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; and,

  • Communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor proactively.
