Citigroup Program Management Sr Analyst - Global Communications in New York, New York

The Program Management Sr Analyst is a seasoned communications professional role for Independent Compliance Risk Management (ICRM). They are responsible for being a strong communications partner to help bring greater visibility around a strong risk and control environment, raise awareness about programs, policies and initiatives that support this environment and the ICRM culture. Integrates communications- related subject matter and industry expertise. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new team members and colleagues who support communications in some capacity. Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports planning, directing and coordination of day-to-day communications of several ICRM coverage areas, programs or portfolio of programs.

  • Preparing, editing and maintaining communications and collateral related to Compliance program related materials.

  • Develop graphic design elements that support communication channels including ICRM Bulletin, internal sites, emails and toolkits

  • Finalizes the project plan with stakeholders and track closely for successful project delivery.

  • Applies best practices for effective communication and problem-solving.

  • Open to learning and understanding the bank environment and compliance and regulatory requirements.

  • Work with regional and global team and implement the best standards across teams.

  • Ensure creation of communication and project management plans

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

  • Has the ability to take ownership, deliver with pride and willingness to perform and succeed as a team.

Qualifications:

  • 5-8 years of experience managing or participating in projects and teams within the finance and 2 years in a professional management role

Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
