Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with over 4,000 lawyers and staff in 31 offices is seeking a Project Manager. Reporting to the Senior Director of Knowledge Solutions, the Project Manager is responsible for the management, coordination and documentation of Knowledge Solutions projects ranging from minimal to high complexity. This position drives projects from initial vision through to completion while working with a diverse team of both internal and external stakeholders.

Project Management
Identifies appropriate resources and develops schedules to ensure timely completion of projects.
Develops work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
Works with Business Analyst and Project Owners to define project charters.
Creates, analyzes and presents project risks, remediation and mitigation efforts.
Monitors and communicates the status of projects to the Senior Director of Knowledge Solutions with respect to milestones, schedule commitments.
Plans and leads planning and review meetings related to projects. Reports on meeting results.
Analyzes project performance data and quantifies project benefits and success criteria
Facilitates the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements; resolves or assists in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas; develops methods to monitor project and progress; and provides corrective supervision if necessary.
Establishes and adheres to project budget; seeks opportunities to improve project efficiency and reduce expenses by streamlining operations.
Presents oral and written reports defining plans, problems, and resolutions to appropriate levels of management.
Follows a defined and agreed upon project management methodology.
Develops work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans and status reports.
Provides direction and guidance with respect to project activities to members of other departments.
Creates and documents project management policies and procedures.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

This job requires:
a Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in MIS, business or accounting and a minimum 5 years Project Manager experience in a professional services organization or equivalent combination of education and experience.
SCRUM or Agile certification (Certified SCRUM Master preferred)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must have a basic knowledge of / be proficient in the following software:
Microsoft Office
JIRA / Confluence
Adobe
