Wolters Kluwer Project & Program Management Associate Director (Hybrid-USA) in New York, New York
NOTE: This position requires eight days a month in office at a specified Wolters Kluwer location.
Job Overview:
The Strategic Program Lead will oversee the execution of large-scale, transformational projects that span across data, people, processes, and technology. This role demands a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management. The ideal candidate will have experience navigating complex organizational dynamics, overcoming resistance to change, and driving impactful business outcomes. This is a senior individual contributor role which reports directly to the Vice President Sales Operations for the Health Division.

Key Responsibilities:
Project Management:
Lead the day-to-day management of strategic programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Manage risks and issues, escalating when necessary, and proactively finding solutions to keep projects on track.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and integration of project components.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Act as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings and updates, ensuring all parties are informed and aligned.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to gain buy-in and support for the program’s objectives.
Change Management:
Develop and implement change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
Identify and address potential obstacles to change, leveraging best practices and creative solutions.
Facilitate training and support to ensure successful transition and adoption of new processes, technologies, and systems.
Monitor and measure the impact of change initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
Leadership & Collaboration:
Lead and inspire cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their professional growth.
Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure projects are aligned with broader organizational strategies and priorities.
Job Qualifications:
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
7+ years of experience in project management, program management, or a similar role, with a focus on large, transformational projects.
Proven experience in managing cross-functional teams and complex projects within deadlines and budgets.
Strong understanding of change management principles and methodologies, with experience overcoming resistance and driving change.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Preferred:
Master’s degree
PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification.
Certification with Prosci or similar.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Leadership : Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.
Strategic Thinking: Ability to see the big picture and align project goals with organizational strategy.
Go-to-Market Operations : Understanding of the B2B Sales Process and experience with process automation (Salesforce.com preferred)
Change Management : Expertise in driving change and overcoming resistance within large organizations.
Communication : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Analytical Skills : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
Travel:
Up to 20% travel to other domestic offices within the USA

Compensation:
Target salary range CA, CT, CO, HI, NY, WA: $147,200-$208,350
