Progyny, Inc. Provider Account Manager - Upper Midwest in New York, New York

Join our Provider AccountManagement team manage network operations and contracting for key accounts across the United States. You will be responsible for developing ongoing, professional and effective touch points with active providers across Progyny's network in the upper Midwest with focus on a high level of customer service. What you'll be doing...

Account management-

  • Establish trusting relationships with business managers and key decision makers, as well as clinical leadership
  • Presentfertility outcomes consistentlytoyour assigned accounts to ensure physicians understandoutcomes metrics and expectations
  • Work cross-functionally withsales, clientaccountmanagement,business intelligence,member services, marketing/PR and financeto address the varied needs ofmultiplestakeholders
  • Plan and evaluate department activities
  • Investigate and implement new processes for practices and Progyny to promote efficiency in timely filing and claims payments
  • Work closely with Progyny's employer services and marketing groups toexecute keynetwork management goals and metrics, and provide input from customers on service delivery solutions
  • Serve as an authority, speaker and representative of Progyny with key customers and partners (e.g.conferences, physician offices, employer customers, etc.)
  • Provide consistent educationacross your assigned accountsto deliver important information regarding Progyny Rx,authorizations and claims, provider Portal,as well asgeneral business operations
  • Administrative dutiesincludetracking and upkeep of provider accounts, credentialing, special projects

Contracting-

  • Directly negotiate contract terms, both financial and operational, with IVF clinicstomanage unit cost trendswith client costand clinical success as primary foci
  • Contribute to development of contracting strategies and network discounts through innovation, including pay-for-performance contracting
  • Maintain and amend provider contracts as needed based on client benefit changes
  • Prospect and develop key senior-level fertility clinic relationships in the region, including, but not limited to:
  • Develop, deliver, negotiate and close service agreements and reimbursement scheduleswitha thorough understanding of Progyny's suite of clinical fertility offerings
  • Strategically determine business model, budget cycle and key decision makers

About you...

  • 4+ years managed care contracting, negotiations and sellingexperience in the fertility space(in-depthknowledge of reproductive endocrinology and infertility (REI)and/or reproductive urology)For example,currentteamexperienceincludesformer specialty pharmacy(fertility)management,fertility nursing,fertility clinic management, health planmanagementand fertility clinicbusinessconsulting
  • Focused on creating solutions before reporting problems.
  • Extremely organized anddetail-oriented.
  • Focus ondriving results to ensure your team has confidence in your ability to grow.
  • Ability to comprehend complex systems with an ability to deliver effective, simplified communications.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching and conflict resolution skills
  • Superb presentation skills with comfort delivering information to large groups
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and focused on ensuring that projects are completed accurately. Ensures all work is thorough and clientready.
  • Ability to adjust to a growing, fast-pacedrole thatwill require you to think on your feet and take on a variety of duties that might not necessarily align with your job description.
  • Can prioritize shifting needs throughout the quarter and adjust to new projects as they are presented.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office suite of services (pivot tables always appreciated) and CRM Systems.
  • Ability to comprehend complex systems with an ability to deliver effective, simplified communications.
  • Focus ondriving results to ensure your team has confidence in your ability to grow.
  • Ability to adjust to a growing, fast-pacedrole thatwill require you to think on your feet and take on a variety of duties that might not necessarily align with your job description.
  • Undergraduate degree.
  • Ability for air travel up to eight days monthly

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $80,000 - $95,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
