Practising Law Institute QA Engineer in New York, New York
Practising Law Institute (“PLI”) is seeking a QA Engineer for its talented, Manhattan-based team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with multiple agile teams in understanding business requirements and technical specifications for different applications.
Analyze, design, implement and maintain QA Automation solutions for each of the applications.
Develop strategy to support automated smoke and regression testing.
Review test execution results, document and report defects to the agile project teams for resolution.
Work with DevOps to ensure the continuous integration of the QA Automation via the CI/CD process.
Other duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years of experience in analyzing, design, implement and maintain QA Automation solutions, or particularly impressive experience of shorter duration.
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle methodology.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills a must.
Hands-on testing experiences in integration, user interface, smoke, regression and user acceptance testing.
QA experiences using automated testing tools and processes to perform functional, regression and performance testing. Knowledge with Leapwork is preferred.
Proficiency in SQL is a must.
Development experience using C#/.Net is preferred.
Knowledge on application/system integration architecture, development process is preferred.
Understanding of source code version control (GIT) and CI/CD (e.g. Azure DevOps, Jenkins) processes.
Keeps up to date with market trends and other changes in technology.

Compensation Range for this position
$118,000 - $122,000 per annum
