Elastic is searching for a talented sales leader for the Northeast Commercial Sales organization. You will be joining one of our fastest growing segments here and will have a big impact as you build, lead, and develop your team of Account Executives across the region. Reporting directly to the AVP for Commercial Sales, you'll join a leadership team comprised of seasoned peers across the country with a combined experience of over 80-years in the field. Elastic's RVPs are focused on growing revenue through new customer acquisition and expanding existing customer relationships, meeting and exceeding all sales targets and performance metrics. If so, we'd love to hear from you!What You Will Be Doing: Leading team in a high-volume, dynamic market, empowering them to work with targeted Commercial customers Developing comprehensive knowledge of our technology platform, product messaging, partner ecosystem, and competitor landscape Actively contributing to and owning sales plan creation, compensation structures, and customer segmentation Ensuring the attainment of assigned sales quotas by 'leading from the front' and driving Elastic's sales methodology Actively fostering an environment of teamwork, transparency, creativity, and continuous improvement Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with representatives of the Open Source community and partner ecosystems Traveling as-needed to assist in deal creation and closure, as well as meet any managerial needs and provide support to your team as required Partnering across Elastic's leadership community to ensure a seamless customer experienceWhat You Bring With You: Experience leading Commercial sales teams Consistent track record of leading teams to exceed quotas and objectives within a fast paced and technical client acquisition driven business Strong SaaS sales leadership Executive-level relationships with key accounts Ability to operate in an entrepreneurial environmentBonus Points: Experience working within an Open Source model Ability to work remotely in a highly-distributed environment (we have 2,500+ people across the globe!) Compensation for this role is in the form of base salary plus commission. On-Target Earnings (OTE) are based on a 60/40 pay mix (base salary / target variable). The typical starting OTE range for new hires in this role is listed below. This range represents the lowest to highest OTE we reasonably and in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the OTE range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs. Elastic believes that employees should have the opportunity to share in the value that we create together for our shareholders. Therefore, in addition to cash compensation, this role is currently eligible to participate in Elastic's stock program. Our total rewards package also includes a company-matched 401k with dollar-for-dollar matching up to 6% of eligible earnings, along with a range of other benefits offered with a holistic emphasis on employee well-being.
