Overview
You will focus on Regulatory Exam Management for Anti Financial Crimes (AFC) in the Americas region. Critical responsibilities include managing information delivery from AFC to Deutsche Bank's OFAC and AML Monitor, through Central Monitor coordination team. This role maintains the status of AFC-owned regulatory monitor action items and develops a robust exam management program that proactively ensures compliance with management expectations. Global support provided as needed.

Your Role
What You'll Do:
Responsible for AFC's execution of the Bank's regulatory exam management covering AFC relevant exams and other supervisory activity impacting the region
Develop escalation protocol for aging or significant concerns, with proper tracking and documentation to evidence management attention and resolution and deliver timely and accurate management information on relevant regulatory examinations
Develop internal protocol and program for exam management, including development of approach, interaction model, governance and senior management briefings
Manage the tracking and execution of all pending regulatory action items associated with monitorships; communicate and escalate concerns to senior management
Provide periodic and centralized updates to senior management to promote transparency on status of open issues, including tracking and aging
Proactively identify potential challenges impacting target deadlines and, if needed, coordinate extensions to prevent breaches of execution dates as well as provide timely and up-to-date status reports to Global counterparts on a periodic basis

How You'll Lead:
Manage team tasked with the day-to-day coordination of the Exam Management function; participate in regulatory meetings and site visits; ensure timely and complete delivery of requested documentation, coordinate relevant approvals and supporting documentation
Promote a culture of accountability to drive enhanced quality and timely closure of monitorship requests
Develop procedures to memorialize the team's role and responsibility in the Exam Management process

Skills You'll Need:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent; JD or MBA is a plus
Extensive AFC, Exam Management, Audit or relevant experience
Knowledge of applicable AFC laws and regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act
Experienced in leading Exam Management protocol
Experienced in interactions with regulatory authorities, with a seasoned knowledge of regulatory expectations and industry standards
