Job Description

SCOPE OF INTERN WORK: The RAL admin intern will play an important role in the administration of RAL’s M&E and learning related tools and initiatives.

COMMITMENT: Full time summer 2019 / Part time fall 2020

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative assistance (logging of assignments, preparation of materials) for USP’s virtual classroom (the Learning Collaborative)

  • Update RAL’s informational pages on internal intranet

  • Provide quality assurance and alignment of language across the tools included in the IRC’s Outcomes and Evidence Framework (OEF)

  • Support development of micro-learning resources such as a multi-media newsletter to raise awareness of and support use of the OEF

  • Testing of Switchboard e-learning modules

  • Other tasks as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelors required

  • Experience with Indesign preferred

  • Experience with micro-learning and creating editing multi-media videos preferred

  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office programs

LEARNING OBJECTIVES:

1. The intern will gain indepth understanding of adult learning theory as applied in a virtual course

2. The intern will develop skills in tool development
