PVH Corp. Retail Analyst II - Tommy Hilfiger in New York, New York

The Retail Analyst II will be responsible for facilitating the growth of his/her accounts by assisting the Planner and Account Exec. Retail Analyst will do analysis tops down and also at the door/style levels. Analyst will interact with account buyers/planners, PVH Account Executives & Wholesale Field Team.


  • Gather weekly reports and analyze overall sales performance by account/class/style/door for major accounts

  • Assist in maintaining seasonal OTBs, ladder plans, and style performance reports

  • Monthly analysis of business by door by account – recommend future receipt adjustments, direct merchandise coordinators to problem doors, capitalize on future growth opportunities

  • Report / call out color / style trend to design staff / sales & sales management

  • Assist in analyzing by account quarterly margin settlement – provide up front (4-6 weeks in advance) forecast of margin needs by account by class

  • Participate in weekly business calls and assist in preparation and presentation of weekly business recap to senior management

  • Participate in the presentation of the seasonal sales plans to the retailer senior management – prepare the meeting materials including sales plans , account histories & other supporting documents as needed

  • Participate in market appointments both in the business review and actual purchasing making recommendations based on historical sales performance in conjunction with Planner and Sales Teams


  • Bachelor's degree

  • 1-3 years of related experience, in Retail/Wholesale planning, (Open-to-buy experience a plus)

  • MS Office, Excel proficient, MS Power Point, comfortable with web based applications

  • May/will provide analysis for forecasts/estimates used by Finance/Account executives

  • This position is involved in making decisions regarding the planning of data, reporting, and general planning of the business and sales operations

  • Involved in making critical decisions with regards to allocating units at the account, brand, and door level to positively impact business at retail

  • Many minor decisions are made on a day-to-day basis; major decisions are reviewed and collaborated on a team basis

  • Have to come up with creative ways to handle and process new sets of data from customers, report out on action plans

  • Must be able to analyze data problems to determine best course of action to optimize data usage

  • Tasked to complete special projects on regular basis

  • Ability to create new views and ways to analyze and interpret data/information

  • The Retail Analyst needs to be able to meet the demands of a hectic, fast paced environment where priorities are changing frequently

  • In addition, this person needs to be comfortable juggling the needs and demands of multiple accounts
