We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative, and proactive team members and are looking for a Temporary Sales Assistant to come join our New York based headquarters through the end of the year. Our HQ Office is located in Lower Manhattan and the team is on-site 3 days per week.
Position Overview
The Temporary Sales Assistant will report to the Senior Account Manager and will work closely with them on preparation for the upcoming season. The anticipated end of this position will be 12/31/2024.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist Senior Account Manager with market preparation; samples, market decks, and showroom prep
Own NuOrder: set up line sheets for market and partner with Merchandising team on compiling all info needed
Enter all market orders in 7th Online system and help recap buys
Ensure showroom is Always Ready and work with Merchandising to order any missing samples
Assist with general duties, including assisting other team members such as the Senior Account Executive, Off Price & Clubs
Qualifications, Skills, & Experience
1-3 years of related experience and/or internships
Demonstrated alignment with TJ core values: Humble, Adaptable, Mindful GSD 2.0, & Curious
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, NuOrder, and 7th Online
Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills; team oriented and outgoing
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work on-site at our HQ Office in Lower Manhattan 3 days per week
Pay Range: $30 to $35 per hour
