FactSet Salesforce Administrator(R1179) in New York, New York


Role/Department Description

The Administrator will be responsible for day to day oversight of FactSet's ecosystem, which will include: Object management, configuring Salesforce, analyze business requirements, providing best practice recommendations and implementing functionality for a range of project stakeholders, including custom object creations, advanced workflows, etc. This role will work closely with the rest of the Technology team to ensure consistency across processes and systems that are being followed by the entire business. Additional responsibilities will focus on providing reporting and insight to the Technology leaders, as well as suggesting operational process improvements that will directly improve velocity and throughput.

Within the first six (6) to twelve (12) months, the person in this position is expected to:

Understand systems, processes and the impact to the projects and business objectives
Absorb the nuances of the current in-house CRM systems and how it relates to the new SF org
Handle multiple concurrent assignments with varying priorities and adjust work accordingly to meet deadlines.
Analyze and evaluate business needs and provide technical direction and recommendations

Manage ongoing support requests and administrative needs of users.
Create and manage custom objects, fields, formulas, page layouts.
Develop and maintain validation rules, custom workflow, process builders and flows.
Curate security model (profiles/permissions).
Develop and maintain custom reports and dashboards.
Participate in the integration process with other enterprise systems.
Contribute in Salesforce Seasonal releases - optimize the process and minimize the release impact on other projects.
Strong collaborative experience working as part of a team with engineers, business and admins in building a stable, efficient and scalable system.
Strong understanding of Salesforce data model and able to consume complex data model customization.
Recommend best practices.
Evaluate/recommend suitable third-party applications to integration with Salesforce to meet business needs.
Knowledge of various Salesforce apps and interfacing systems e.g. Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, Einstein Analytics, Hubspot, Kapost, Conga etc.
Determine and document business user requirements.
Work with a change management (SDLC) process to develop and implement new applications and updates to existing applications.
Assist in defining, analyzing, and evaluating system requirements to meet business and user needs.
Develop relationships with the internal customer by being proactive, displays a thorough understanding of their business, and provides innovative business solutions

Education and Certifications

Currently possess or actively working towards Advanced level Salesforce Admin certification
3+ Years' experience in Salesforce
1+ Years' experience with Salesforce Lightning
Implementation/configuration experience with Salesforce CPQ and/or Salesforce Billing highly desired
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Flexibility to meet continuously changing priorities and challenges
Solid communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to drive projects/issues to completion
Experience with SOQL querying, Apex programming language, Visualforce development a plus
Strong overall technical background
