The Floor Ambassador is responsible for representing Bergdorf Goodman in a specific department to ensure clients are provided with BG customer service experience. This individual must have proven success in retail sales and the ability to understand and represent a luxury brand.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create a welcoming environment by greeting, approaching and directing customers.

Connects with clients in a friendly and meaningful way.

Seamlessly interacts and introduces customers to associates.

Makes every client interaction a personal and seamless experience.

Direct traffic flow by escorting clients through store floors for ringing.

Ringing transactions and graciously processing returns.

Educates self and client on merchandise, events, promotions, policy and services.

Promotes benefits of the InCircle program and opens new accounts.

Assist in maintaining visual and merchandise presentation standards on the selling floor

Assist with the maintenance of holds and stocking supplies.

Assist with VIC appointments.

Demonstrate flexibility and ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business.

Walks clients out at closing and assures that all last-minute clients are assisted.

Partners with others to provide the best client experience.

Actively creates a positive work environment through teamwork and collaboration.

Maintains positive working relationships throughout the company.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years of luxury sales experience with a proven track record of success

Excellent customer service skills

Motivated and results driven

Ability to effectively work both autonomously and as a team player

Highly organized with a strong attention to detail

Must have the ability to work full time schedule based on business needs and inclusive of evenings, weekends, and holidays
