What you’ll do

As a Senior Analyst Credit and Collections, you will evaluate open A/R reviewing customer ledgers periodically.

Timely collection of AR balances which may include.

  • Calling customers for past due balances on regular inventory invoices and disputed deductions.- Average calls per day may be between 12-35, along with emails.

  • Work with sales force and customer services team to facilitate sales while managing credit risk to an acceptable level

    Review credit limits periodically and make recommendations based on collection reports payment and sales history

  • Maintain Credit Files

  • Credit Checks via D&B

  • Establish credit limits for new customers

Job Aspect 1

You will

  • Release orders from credit hold in JDE whenever necessary

  • Request missing remittance details

  • Produce customer statements monthly and upon request

  • Resend invoices per customer request

  • Review customer web portals for remittance information

  • Monitor aging for Consumer orders

  • Maintain Certificate of Insurance

    Job Aspect 2

You will

  • Review Aging periodically and discuss with counterpart any anomalies

  • Prepare and review analysis on collection of receivables, payment trends and prepare status report for Treasurer and other upper management whenever necessary

  • Assist in reviewing customer master file set-up for accuracy and completeness

  • Gather and evaluate information/documentation pertaining to new accounts (credit references, payment history etc.)

  • Identify potential write-offs and discuss recommendations with Treasurer.

You have…

  • 5+ years credit and collections experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • JD Edwards experience a Plus

  • Strong negotiating Skills

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to deal with difficult situations tactfully and resolve conflict effectively

  • Ability to multi-task to meet deadlines and exceed goals

  • Ability to work overtime as needed

  • You must have solid time management skills and ability to handle multiple tasks without supervision
