Aviation American Gin is one of the fastest growing Ultra-Premium gin brands in the U.S., experiencing explosive growth through a distinct brand positioning, radical in-culture marketing, and amplified by the influential and creative sphere of Ryan Reynolds. Aviation is in high growth, but still holds a small share of category, with massive runway for growth through expanding its distribution and velocity footprint within the U.S. and in international markets.

Key Outputs

Strategy and Business Management

  • We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager to help accelerate Aviation American Gin (AAG) towards achieving its ambitious growth plans. This role reports directly the AAG Business Director, but will work collaboratively across multiple internal and external cross functional partners.

  • This role is critical to the development and execution of consumer and culture centric growth drivers for the annual business plan across the marketing mix.

  • Leverage performance analysis, competitive and consumer insights to create an on-going feedback loop to inform optimizations to the long-term strategy and annual plan.

  • Drive agenda for annual and quarterly business reviews

  • A&P budget management

Marketing Deliverables

  • Accountable for developing the annual Marketing Business Plan (MBP), enrolling key partners and briefing agencies to deliver activity plan

  • Partner closely with Ryan Reynolds and Maximum Effort creative agency on execution of communications assets and social media strategy/calendar. Should have strong cultural and creative instincts to spot and inspire break through content. Digital first mentality

  • Lead development of commercially integrated platforms ex) NFL/Summer

  • Partner with IAT and CoEs to develop all integrated marketing activities inclusive of culture tentpoles, PR, experiential, connections planning, media, POS, ECOM

  • Partner closely with CP&A to develop on/off prem and ecom programming / activations

  • Develop integrated plan to support future innovation pipeline


  • Support during marketing integration, inclusive of transfer of all brand assets (comms, POS), and owned assets (website/social handles)

  • Partner with transition team to ensure plans and tools are ready for execution for F23

Qualifications and Experience Required

  • 7+ years experience within marketing and general management.

  • Consumer goods experience preferred, three-tiered industries or alcohol beverage experience a plus

  • Track record of creating / implementing brand strategies and integrated campaigns with tangible results. Digital and social first mentality.

  • Proven ability to lead inter-agency teams, inspiring them to be highly collaborative, effective and creative

  • Insatiable curiosity and ability to translate competitive, cultural, consumer, commercial and shopper insights to practical takeaways that help optimize and build effective business plans.

  • Strong commercial skill with ability to enroll and motivate a large, complex sales organization.

  • Proven experience working effectively within a matrix organization required. Comfort with agility, complexity and lack of rigid structures.
