The Sizmek Ad Suite provides advertisers and agencies with solutions to create, distribute, measure, and optimize their messaging. These solutions include ad serving, creative authoring, analytics, and dynamic creative optimization solutions. We help advertisers to get the most out of their campaigns. Customers can run efficient and effective advertising campaigns both on Amazon properties as well as on third-party sites and apps through our direct publisher relationships and third-party exchanges. Customers are able to gain a holistic view of advertising campaign performance, to measure the effectiveness of all campaigns across Amazon Advertising solutions and other media properties. With this visibility into what is happening with campaigns and brands, customers can further optimize media buying strategies.
We are seeking a seasoned business intelligence analyst to join the ranks as part of the global customer operations team to help us build analytics solutions by connecting multiple sources of data from internal systems and advertising data to compile results into a meaningful story. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter that thrives in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer obsession. As a BIA, you will own the data platform for the entire Sizmek customer operations org. Your analysis and data tools will guide our reporting, benchmarking, program optimization and execution strategy. You will also help us define our analytics deliverables for our customer engagements, helping us drive the story of our customer's use of our technology.

Key job responsibilities
\* Analyze large sets of data, establish benchmarks, and give actionable insights and forward-thinking recommendations.
\* Identify data trends and provide insight on what is driving the changes by asking questions from the data.
\* Merge data (potentially writing scripts for joining tables), build dashboards, and act as a QuickSight expert.
\* Coordinate with leadership to create metrics to model variable headcount utilization and give insight on staffing demands.
\* Redefine and simplify existing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to support the team's analytical and business needs.
\* Serve as liaison with upstream data teams across finance, ads analytics and product teams.
\* Source data and build infrastructure that enables the teams to make data driven business decisions.
\* Identify opportunities to automate systems and tools; improve upon existing approaches by adding data sources, optimizing methodology, and testing model structures.
\* Identify data inconsistencies and or anomalies and work with the data integrity and audit teams to build mechanisms to address.
\* Develop scalable dashboards to arm Customer Success and Business Development teams with insights on a customer's business for business reviews.

About the team
Sizmek Ad Suite Global Operations is an organization comprised of several teams working to ensure our ad serving and creative customers are successful in using our technology - Sizmek Ad Suite and Sizmek Ad Builder. Our deep product knowledge and customer obsession enables us to provide customers with optimal customer service and support.
\* Bachelor's Degree
\* 5+ years relevant experience in financial/business analysis
\* Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
\* Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
\* Experience in SQL
\* Experience with Microsoft Excel
\* Experience in the advertising industry.
\* 5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role.
\* Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and analytical platforms.
\* Proven experience in writing SQL queries and the use of data visualization tools, e.g. QuickSight.
\* Experience in developing requirements, formulating business metrics for reporting, and displaying complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format.
\* Ability to distill informal customer requirements into problem definitions, dealing with ambiguity and competing objectives.
\* Proven program management skills to coordinate projects across cross-functional teams, including business intelligence, engineering, operations, product management, and finance.
\* Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
\* Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.

\* Excellent verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
\* Excellent customer service skills, including strong ability to determine customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
\* Familiarity with Salesforce.com.
\* Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field.
\* Ability to deal with ambiguity and competing objectives in a fast-paced environment.
