Navigant helps clients navigate the Energy Cloud transformation by developing next-generation business and policy solutions that maximize value and manage risks. Our industry-leading perspective on the global energy transformation, the Energy Cloud, addresses all aspects of the energy value chain, providing specific details on how clients can harness changing business models. With an in-house research team, Navigant's clients have access to the latest data and insights related to the global energy transformation. We work side by side with clients, from the planning stages to implementation, applying our expertise across strategy, technology, and regulatory matters to ensure program success.

  • Conducting detailed fact finding, research, and analysis on energy-related technologies, programs and business models

  • Assessing technologies, industries, and markets and analyzing related trends

  • Performing statistical and economic analyses; technology performance modeling; data collection; spreadsheet creation and management

  • Developing strategies implementation plans for utilities, government, energy companies, and equipment suppliers

  • Interviewing business managers, technology experts and public policy officials to support client projects

  • Supporting the design and implementation of management processes

  • Contributing to evaluations of new energy technologies and programs

  • Communicating solutions and new strategies to clients through reports and presentations

  • Graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or Business in May/June 2020

  • Demonstrated interest or knowledge in areas such as clean energy, electric vehicles, and electric transmission and distribution

  • Outstanding research, analytical and problem-solving skills

  • High degree of self-confidence and determination

  • Demonstrated proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, word processing, and slide presentation software

  • Experience developing and using analytical models and simulation software

  • Highly developed organization and time management skills

  • Ability to travel and work overtime hours as needed

  • Strong conceptual, as well as quantitative and qualitative analytical skills

  • Work as a member of a team as well as be a self-motivator with ability to work independently

  • Constantly operates a computer and other office equipment to coordinate work

  • Frequently travels by airplane, train or car as necessary to perform work at another location

  • Regularly uses close visual acuity and operates computer equipment to prepare and analyze and transmit data

  • Generally works in an office environment
