PVH Corp. Senior Designer, Women's Wovens - CK Calvin Klein in New York, New York

The Senior Designer is responsible for developing Women’s Wovens for the CK CALVIN KLEIN bridge line for Club21 (Asia). He or she will also be responsible for adhering to the merchandise plan, calendar timing for the effective timely delivery, as well as to execute a seasonal collection, which balances well between high fashion and commercial needs. Highly creative, with time & team management skill.


  • Executes the direction of the CK CALVIN KLEIN Women’s Wovens from concept through final products.

  • Develops, reviews, and oversees the aesthetic of fabrications, embellishments, trims, graphics, and prints.

  • Develops and reviews sketches and technical packages (by hand & computer)

  • Establishes garment fit and leads fittings. Relays fit comments/recaps as needed.

  • Assures that design adheres to merchandise plan and calendar timing.

  • Manages development of Design team under him or her – selection, training and talent development

  • Manages the communication of all information to pertinent licensee.


Experience : 7+ years of experience required in Design along with experience managing a team

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Fashion Design


  • Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.

  • Extensive knowledge of soft & hard woven garment construction

  • Possess high fashion aesthetics.

  • Previous experience working with Asia strongly preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of all Adobe programs


Internal: Design, Merchandising, and Marketing teams

External: Licensees, vendors, and other 3rd parties



DECISION MAKING: Oversee the development and implementation of concepts as well as design and development for the CK CALVIN KLEIN Women’s wovens line from conception to final product.

RESOURCEFULNESS/CREATIVITY: Ability to recognize trends, construct detailed tech packs for garments and trim, etc.; and ability to source trend-right materials and trims within costing considerations.
