The Innovation & Analytics (I&A) team will drive innovation, reporting, analytics, and process improvements and will shape the upfront, strategic thinking of new initiatives. This includes framing and analyzing complex problems, assessing current state, designing target state solutions, developing actionable recommendations, and supporting the initial implementation across the organization. The team will generate ideas, insights, and strategic plans that guide decision-making on key initiatives and new products.
The I&A team is looking for a Senior Director to lead teams focused on enablement, financial analysis, market insights, innovation and impact. Specifically, the teams would focus on:
Strategy/Market Intelligence - lead strategic planning and market research and surveillance activities to support the up front thinking on the development, products and partnerships. Integrate research, data and stakeholder feedback into analysis and present insights to drive business decisions
Financial, Portfolio & Business Analysis - building and managing centralizing reporting capabilities that leverages data to support workflow, deal level analysis and to drive strategy.
Impact/Innovation - lead product and program development and collaborate with other stakeholders on design. Develop impact and advocacy strategies with other internal stakeholders.
Enablement - leading process, technology and infrastructure transformation to enable the power of Community Finance associates
The leader's responsibilities may include include
Working collaboratively to develop business strategies, that will drive growth, profitability, and competitive success and impact in our communities while taking into consideration market & regulatory landscape
Developing and implementing new product and pricing strategies
Developing and executing analysis plans utilizing internal and external data sources in support of business decision-making and strategy development
Develop and execute a comprehensive enablement strategy with particular focus on technology, data, process and infrastructure
Work closely with colleagues across Community Finance, EA, CRE & Capital One to drive innovation, impact, profitability, etc
Lead market research and surveillance to support strategy development, products and partnerships
Integrate research, portfolio data and stakeholder feedback into analysis and present insights to drive business decisions
Assist in the development and implementation of data repositories and tools
Partner with external partners to facilitate analysis
Assist in developing recommendations from the analysis in order to aid senior management decision-making
Communicate analysis and its respective business implications
At least 10 years of experience in banking, strategy, consulting, business analysis, product management, or a combination
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
15+ years of specialized experience in management, strategy, or consulting
Strong oral and written communication, presentation and influencing skills with a high level of attention to detail.
