Loews Hotels & Co Senior Director, Digital and Acquisition in New York, New York

Headquartered in New York City, located in midtown Manhattan on New York’s famed Eastside, our Loews Hotels & Co Home Office teams provide support to all our properties throughout the United States and Canada. Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, marketing, finance, human resources, and information technology.

The Senior Director, Digital and Acquisition is responsible for developing and managing the digital operation strategy, long term vision and coordinating effort across commerical/regional teams, senior IT and external vendors to support business strategy. Additionally, this person will lead in the successful planning and executing of all channel marketing strategies to drive profitable business for the brand and develops innovative ideas that tie web, mobile, voice, email and search together to provide media solutions based on consumer insight and data.

Job Specific:

  • Identify strategic opportunities for aggressively growing customer subscriptions and profitable revenue, including tracking how markets and guest segments are evolving, evaluating channel and product opportunities, and analyzing external trends as well as competitive actions

  • Create a comprehensive customer acquisition strategy to drive direct sales growth through the following channels: search, display, metasearch, voice, email, affiliates, etc

  • Lead and guide the overall ecommerce experience and technology integration

  • Provide perspective and guidance on advertising platform architecture and execution to drive efficiencies and profitability

  • Independently evaluate marketplace trends and consumer insight and provide recommendations that further define and enhance the evolving multi channels media approach

  • Work with our partners / agencies on creative and build out an advanced data-driven audience targeting and testing as well as integrated online and offline strategies including work with Customer Engagement Center to optimize site conversion and profitability over time

  • Responsible for driving strategy, budget, execution and KPIs for all media and develop omni-channel approach to drive customer acquisition and profitable revenue

  • Manage relationship with our media agency/ies, vendors and partner with GM/regionals to build forecast and business model that anticipate future growth and other needs of the business

  • Partner with internal stakeholders (commercial / Customer Engagement Center / Brand Design Studio) to ensure creative, marketing message and programs are cohesive and fully integrated

  • Work closely with the SVP of eCommerce and Distribution to support guest engagement platform and ensure our strategic frameworks are effective so they produce quantifiable business results and add value to overall guest journey

  • Communicate complex analyses and recommendations in a clear, concise and persuasive manner

  • Analyzes data & benchmarks information to help achieving the commercial drivers

  • Partner with key cross-functional teams to ensure all relevant organizational goals and implications are factored into digital and ecommerce projects

  • Provide primary support to the SVP, eCommerce and Distribution on implementing key strategic initiatives

General:

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs

  • Required to attend all training sessions and meetings

Qualifications:

  • The ideal candidate will be a seasoned media professional with at least 7-10 years of marketing/ advertising experience across digital and advertising platforms

  • Expertise with all digital and networks Google Ads, Facebook Ads, YouTube Advertising and programmatic networks

  • Strong understanding of advertising technology and ability to identify and build both online and offline solutions to everyday business needs

  • Ability to analyze interpret data and use insight to inform overall direction of the acquisition strategies

  • Strong understanding of customer segmentation and how it can feed into acquisition marketing channels in order to identify and acquire valuable consumers

  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate complex digital strategy to non-digital team members cross functionally with all levels

  • Experience with Dynamic Creative Optimization, Attribution, Account Based Marketing, etc.

  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically

  • Excellent team player with a positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively to drive projects to successful completion

  • Ability to adapt to a fast paced continually changing business and work environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Ability to manage multiple vendors and implement new media partners

Preferred:

  • Negotiation and influencing skills.

  • Relevant hospitality, eCommerce or online retail experience.

  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

  • Experience With: Adobe Marketing Cloud, Google Marketing Platforms, SynXis, Oracle Database & Hospitality Products

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 7+ years e-commerce and channel marketing experience
