This role will work across all of Education Cloud's major product lines to deliver simple, intuitive user experiences. If you're a product thinker, like defining the standards of user experience, and operationalizing processes to drive quality this may be the role for you.
Integrated Customer Experience Team:
As a talented and seasoned Senior / Lead Product Designer for Platform, you'll be a leader; creating a vision for enabling the success of our customers. You will help build connective tissue across product spaces, identifying opportunities and creating concepts that lead to more unified experiences across the Salesforce Platform. In partnership with Product Management, Engineering, and Content Experience, your design team will have the opportunity to make a huge impact while solving meaningful problems and creating new design patterns and paradigms. We are looking for a candidate that is obsessed with delivering phenomenal customer-centric experiences, showing proven success in ownership, bias for action, and thinking big. Experience / Skills Required
Able to successfully manage all aspects of a project from start to finish
Must be self-motivated, a good communicator, comfortable following direction, and able to balance great design with meeting short deadlines
Able to produce results independently as well as collaboratively in a team
Knowledge of the psychology behind information visualization
Experience designing enterprise dashboards and reports for large data sets
Expert understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices
Expert knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, OmniGraffle, PhotoShop, Fireworks, Illustrator
Ability to communicate your ideas to a wide variety of key stakeholders
Ability to lead and manage large design initiatives
5+ years of experience in a similar role
Compellingly communicate your ideas to a wide range of key stakeholders
Function as a bridge across disciplines, such as Design, Product, Engineering, and Marketing
Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers and user research to create a vision for your product area
Own various web and mobile application features, interfaces and experiences
Create designs that adhere to and extend the existing style guide
Generate detailed specs of final designs that allow devs to build accurately
Work with devs and QE to deliver polished final product
Evangelize new interface guidelines and design patterns
Mentor new members of design staff
