PVH Corp. Senior Manager, Communications & Public Relations - Tommy Hilfiger in New York, New York

The Senior Manager, Communications & Public Relation position is responsible for the development and execution of communications strategies, programs and activities for the North America and Latin America regions. The role will support global and local initiatives with a priority on generating consistent, positive messaging and inclusion across all media channels in line with brand objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management, including the development and execution of brand communications strategies, timelines and budgets to support seasonal campaigns, capsules and initiatives

  • Proactively drive positive results in media through pitching and securing coverage

  • Support on all PR projects and events; fashion shows, in-store events, launches, etc.

  • Liaison with global communications team on all initiatives, reporting back locally and maintaining strong company-wide relationships to ensure alignment

  • Spearhead comprehensive reporting for initiatives, launches, editorial and events

  • Build, maintain and leverage network of relationships with relevant publications, media organizations, industry associations and other influential outlets to identify unique opportunities for brand integration

  • Develop and maintain communications calendar, including key PR activations, ensuring alignment with business goals and cross-department teams

  • Manage LATAM teams, share communications updates and align on all relevant initiatives

  • Manage Senior Communications Coordinator, overseeing workload and day-to-day tasks

  • Maintain a robust understanding of competitor and industry activity

  • Oversee budget for North America PR based activity

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Marketing or Communications

  • 5-8 years of working experience in fashion or in relevant functions

  • The role requires expertise in the fashion industry and an active interest in industry and media trends

  • Strengths in analyzing, synthesizing and summarizing high volumes of information, creating executive summaries and relaying resulting decisions and/or changes

  • Understanding of brand positioning and DNA

  • Strong networking capabilities to develop working relationships across organization

  • Collaborative; able to liaise closely across different levels of the organization

  • Strong writing and communication skills

  • Pro-active and hands-on

  • Open minded and resourceful

  • Strong aesthetic eye and taste level; strict attention to detail

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs; Excel, PowerPoint and Keynote

  • Ability to travel, both domestically and internationally; valid passport required

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines and budgets

  • Creative thinker who effectively collaborates with respective teams

  • Must be able to find the best solutions and develop methods to improve efficiency

  • Must be flexible to adapt to changing trends of business and projects

  • Flexibility required to respond to shifting business needs with adherence to deadlines

  • Ability to think strategically and implement tactically
