To help us drive market share in North America, M·A·C is adding an Senior Manager, FSS Sales Planning position to its corporate NY team.

  • Maintain very close relationships with Regional Sales Directors, Marketing & Education and cross functional partners to achieve sales plan and to develop business strategies to support growth. Assess MAC NA store strengths and weaknesses so that new initiatives or programs are created and implemented to reduce potential risks.

  • Collaborate closely with NA Retail Planning & replenishment team on go forward forecasting (basic and launch), assortment analytics, sales planning by door. Serve as key point of contact and liaison between brand and Demand Planning team

  • Conduct and assess weekly store level sales recap: trend, MOB, category gap analysis

  • Serve as the primary FSS Assortment owner by reviewing FSS assortment, understanding the nuances and ensuring data is set up to reflect appropriate assortment.

  • Work with Marketing and NA Retail Planning & Replenishment to hindsight promotions and apply learnings to future marketing programming

  • Calculate markdown dollars and anticipated retail lift for all FSS promotions (once per quarter)

  • Sales reporting and forecasting the business by product family – seasonal MFP

  • Work with Marketing on upcoming programming and FSS focus – maintain SBS calendars

  • Develop programming opportunities for US FSS inventory excess identified by NA Retail Planning & Replenishment teams to reduce excess inventory in trade and drive retail Sales

  • Work with cross functional retail planning and operations partners on forecast expectations, programming changes, etc

  • Promotion Analysis/Business Results

  • Function as the main contact for all reporting related work out of Data Warehouse

  • Liaison between FSS and Corporate on sales plans, performance, reporting

  • Work with key stake holders on Sales Planning and NA Retail team on a monthly retail sales plan/LE & revenue estimates

  • NPL forecasting, input on size of program & distribution model working with key stakeholders

  • Communication Hub between the Field and the New York Office for FSS Strategies: Provide flow of key information to the Corporate Office, RSD’s, Field Executives and for the Field population.


  • 5 years’ experience in an analytical role

  • Strong analytical & business acumen; ability to develop insights that continuously improve planning

  • The ability to collaborate and achieve consensus with other groups is imperative.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as budget management and negotiation skills.

  • Highly organized and structured

  • Able to coordinate across roles and functions effectively

  • Ability to analyze and manipulate large amount of data in excel; Excel formulas (Date functions, V-lookup, Pivot Tables, etc).

  • Self-starter and ability to work independently & disciplined in time management
