The Role - Senior Manager, GWS Operations
Cognizant is seeking a seasoned professional who thinks strategically and analytically, collaborates cross-functionally, and will directly support the Global AVP of Global Workplace Services and the initiatives across the GWS organization.
The Global Real Estate team is seeking a Senior Manager who will be responsible for supporting GWS operations at the direction and in support of the GWS AVP. The position will be responsible to oversee and initiate programs, activities, and operations to ensure global alignment. This includes planning, coordination and managing multiple workstreams such as budget adherence and reporting (both capital and operating plans), meetings and other communication, BCM/BCP as well as assisting in creating policies, processes, and procedures. The role will assist in ensuring GWS compliances and associated processes are created or altered from existing are implemented or adhered to. There will be a heavy focus on ensuring global consistency through each region.
Lead the efforts to support regional consistency in deliverables including setting up clear checkpoints for confirmation of deliverables by the geo Regional Directors
Lead coordination efforts in reporting
Create required reporting processes based on business needs
Identify and implement structure to track GWS time off, travel and other OOO situations for clear visibility across the GWS organization
Lead efforts to ensure process creation and implementation for proper coverage for any OOO scenario by Regional GWS Leaders
Cross-Organizational Collaboration: Work interdepartmentally and intra-departmentally with teams and experts across the globe to create a efficiencies for GWS deliverables
Key Responsibilities
Work across corporate functions on behalf of the Global Workplace Services organization, including:
Ensuring GWS is compliant in Corporate compliances for training or other Corporate deliverables
Ensure Monthly Regional Meetings are set and maintained relative to agenda, minutes, cadence, and identification of key stakeholders/invitation lists while ensuring the information remains current
Working across CREWS organization ensuring alignment on Real Estate deliverables identified as GWS deliverables regionally and globally
Lead coordination efforts for FM and Capital reporting
Ensure consistent nomenclature across the organization (inter and intra departmentally)
Work to standardize GWS communication methods and messages
Support the AVP/GWS through a dynamic and changing environment
Track critical item follow up required from ISO/Other audits, safety compliance issues
Qualifications
Professional with 10 - 15 years relevant experience in integrated facilities management field
Ability to manage and drive projects and initiatives to completion and meet goals
Comfortable with ambiguity and continually evolving priorities
Proven track record of working interdepartmentally as well as with third party supplier partners
Advanced ability to communicate effectively with clarity and precision in both written and verbal capacities
Proven track record engaging and coordinating with global leaders
Experience with creating effective and impactful communications
Strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
