System One Senior Manager - International Marketing in New York, New York

POSITION TITLE: Sr . Manager – International Marketing (APAC License & Key Accounts)

REPORTS TO: SR Director - International Marketing

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Sr. Manager - International Marketing is responsible for providing strategic leadership for multi-channel marketing within key a geography. This individual will act as key partner to International partners and licensees to develop marketing plans that create impact and fuel the business from inception through execution. This marketing leader should be digitally minded, experienced in the digital marketing space and aware of trends in pertinent social platforms for our consumer.

International Strategy & Partner Relationships

  • Develop impactful 360 global marketing strategies to communicate the brand internationally and maximize commercial impact

  • Manage the annual and seasonal marketing plan process for assigned regions, align and influence distributors to optimize the marketing plan

  • Ensure local plans align with global seasonal strategy while maintaining local relevance

  • Build strong partnerships with International and Marketing teams to ensure priorities and programs (Brand message/gwp/promos) achieve long term business objectives, drive traffic and conversion

  • Develop working relationships with International partners, marketing, and business teams to foster collaboration and mutually beneficial partnerships to accelerate brand growth

  • Ensure the effective utilization of customer databases and CRM activities, including initiatives to accelerate name-capture

  • Analyze marketing initiative performance against set objectives and KPIs to develop hindsight’s resulting in key learnings and best practices

  • Partner with relevant stakeholders to fuel the e-commerce business including customer journey and performance tactics

  • Actively participate in International Market, share global seasonal strategies, drive local strategy and ensure programs and investments align with vision

  • Gain in-depth local market knowledge: economic landscape, competitors, target customers, local nuances, and seasonality

  • Emphasize and guide partners to market with digital; Educate entire INTL Marketing org on digital best practices and what is happening in current digital landscape

  • Point of contact between partners, corporate marketing and creative team

  • Ensure partners adhere to contractually committed marketing spend and align the spend by initiative for sign off by HQ team

    Marketing Organization

  • Make International top of mind, create synergies and develop cohesive marketing and communication content

  • Build on US strategies for International and develop multi-layered 360 programs to support market launches, key holidays, seasons, & strategic retail moments

  • Act as International expert to ensure relevant and appropriate content creation

  • Plan into cultural nuances specific to assigned region

  • In partnership with key stakeholders develop briefs to creative, including product, business and digital alignment

  • Enhance and create internal processes specific to international to streamline and create optimal international experience

  • Share seasonal design guidelines, support style guide creation and delivery of assets/approvals

    QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of relevant professional marketing experience.

  • Focus on digital marketing

  • International retail experience required

  • International and Domestic Travel required

  • Online/Offline expertise required inclusive brick & mortar and e-commerce businesses

  • Wholesale experience is a plus

  • Ability to multi-task projects with equal priority, anticipate issues and provide creative solutions

  • Self-Starter with comfort in working in ambiguity

  • Excellent attention to detail, superior communication and follow-up skills

  • Strong creative & analytical skills, ability to balance brand and commerciality

  • Ability to build effective partnerships, influence and effectively work within a team

  • Ability to make prudent decisions under pressure and work against tight deadlines

  • Ability to interact successfully with diverse individuals at all levels

  • Strong computer skills (Google docs, Microsoft Office Suite) required
