What You Will Do:

Primarily responsible to manage assigned area's annual business plan/budget/trend. Responsible for preparation, analysis and transmission of variety of finance reports in accordance with corporate requirements (i.e. budgets, budget phasing, reporting, commentary). Review and approve development cost purchase orders and monitor for compliance. Manage cost control and conduct monthly budget meetings with departmental managers. Inform of any risk and/or opportunities related to their assigned area. Primary support person for all finance related issues for operating departments. Provide reporting and analysis for WWD financials to teams (i.e. Magnitude reports, compass reports and compass books).

  • Co-Pilot Profitable Growth: Development Costs and Cost ROI (60%)

    Be the go-to person for all A&P spend to support the strategy of each business. Work closely with the Brand Presidents and their DGM to strategically align investments to the strategy. Present Actuals, Trends and Budgets to the stakeholders including President of Kiehl’s DMI.

  • Monthly Close - Preparation of monthly journal entries for development cost related entries (including accruals, reclasses, charge back affiliates / or brands, working with Accounting team to ensure all entries are booked prior the completion of month end close

  • Actual Control & Reporting - Commentary for Actuals vs. Budget/Trend. For Flash/corporate meetings: Meeting preparation for controllers' department heads on their monthly results. Analyze Actual variances to Budget/ Trend.

  • Budget/Trend Management Control & Reporting - Coordinating Budget/Trend deadlines with various business partners. Preparation of Budget/Trend based on corporate calendar, including inputs, allocations, receiving costs, commentary on all Budget/Trend changes. Review meeting preparation with Controllers/Department heads on their Budget/Trend changes.

  • ROI – Create effective b enchmarking, account analysis, cost savings, brand analysis, which influence business partners to critically look at their spend and efficiency. Create relevant KPIs for spend that illustrate how effective the spend is for the brands.

    Co-Pilot Profitable Growth: Business Partnering and Influencing (20%)

  • Influence to spend efficiently – Challenge the status quo with teams to unlock saving and increase ROI

  • Upskill Teams - Set a high standard for business partners by training them and bring an always on learning approach to the teams. Define and strengthen ways of working to drive efficiencies.

    Co-Pilot Profitable Growth: Compliance (20%)

  • Maintain KPIs – Ensure Purchasing KPIs stay in target percentages

  • Implement all needed Internal Controls – Ensure risk is reduced by maintaining a high standard of controls and processes in line with the Group’s guidelines

    Additional Benefits Information As Follows:

    Salary Range : $117,400 - $167,300 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level)
