Location:New York, NY
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with beauty industry experience to join the Sales Development team within Conde Nast's Consumer Revenue division. In this role you will sell and negotiate beauty product inclusions and create a best in class assortment of samplings and experiences for our luxury beauty box customers. Additionally, you will sell fee-based sponsored inclusions and help bring key partnerships to life with major beauty content creators, retailers and Conde Nast titles.
The ideal candidate is a motivated, resourceful and organized self-starter who can work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management and attention to detail are a must.
This business development leaders will:
Source large quantities of beauty products for luxury subscription boxes and curated e commerce offerings for our member stores
Efficiently manage the sales pipeline, meeting aggressive monthly sales targets and a strict budget
Manage the client sales cycle, including brainstorming prospects, successfully pitching clients through cold-calling, emailing and conducting calls and in-person meetings (where appropriate\_ to build long-term relationships with new brand clients and strengthen existing partnerships
Provide oversight for clients' campaigns to ensure that they are seamlessly executed once sold working closely with our in house teams
Analyze and communicate campaign metrics and make recommendations to maximize returns for clients and ensure future inclusions
Collaborate with Conde Nast editorial teams to keep a pulse on key trends and new product launches
Help bring key partnerships to life with content creators, retailers and other Conde Nast titles
Manage and mentor direct reports
Qualifications & Requirements:
5+ years of buying, sales or business development experience including within the beauty industry
2+ year management experience
Exceptional communication and relationship building skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize with tight deadlines while also ensuring accuracy of work through planning, organization and attention to detail
Experience interpreting and communicating sampling and ecommerce metrics and data to internal teams and external clients
Passion for beauty industry and brands
Team player with a "no job too small" attitude
Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to thrive in an innovative and fast paced environment
4-years bachelors degree
Experience with Shopify, Keynote, Basecamp, Google Suite
