What You Will Do:

L’Oreal Professionnel seeks an entrepreneurial senior manager who excels at brand storytelling and out of the box retail thinking to join the L’Oreal Professionnel marketing team. The senior manager will translate L’Oreal Professionnel haircare big bets into best-in-class omnichannel animations for our key consumer channels: Amazon and Sephora. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset, strong digital background, project management experience, ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced environments, excellent attention to detail and a collaborative team spirit.

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Drive the consumer marketing strategy for L’Oreal Professionnel to win and grow market share within professional and prestige haircare.

  • Lead all marketing aspects of the brand’s relationship with Sephora including strategy and go to market, Beauty Barrage education, sampling, e-commerce needs, new product launches, kit development, etc.

  • Lead all marketing aspects of the brand’s relationship with Amazon including content management, improving the user experience, driving the algorithm, management of tentpole events (Amazon Prime Day, Cyber Week), etc.

  • Identify opportunities to test and learn new approaches to best support the individual goals and needs of the various retailers (in-store and online).

  • Translate product initiatives into brand stories for best in class in-store moments and online presence, with a consumer-first mindset.

  • Partner closely with the brand’s IMC team to develop concepts and storytelling that translate for media and social/advocacy campaigns as well as project manage any institutional content needs.

  • Drive all L’Oreal Professionnel e-commerce needs as the brand’s content lead, partnering closely with Global brand and e-commerce teams on US market needs and optimizations.

  • Manage the haircare consumer marketing budget.

  • Support any marketing-led external brand partnership opportunities.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum 5-7 years of Trade Marketing and/or eRetail experience

  • Sephora experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of the digital and beauty industries

  • Proactive and results-oriented thinker who would flourish in an entrepreneurial and relationships-driven environment

  • Communicates clearly and succinctly in both oral and written forms

  • Ability to collaboratively work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Must demonstrate strong critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

  • Must be skilled at executing within tight timeframes with attention to detail and accuracy

  • Highly organized with proven multi-tasking and project management skills
