PVH Corp. Senior Planner, Wholesale - Tommy Hilfiger in New York, New York

The Senior Planner, Wholesale is responsible for facilitating the growth and profitability of our brands through planning, analysis and forecasting of Major Department Store accounts’ business. Candidates with major department store planning experience in wholesale or retail required.

Responsibilities:

Pre-Season:

  • Develop Seasonal Topside and Location Plans

  • Develop seasonal 6-month plan and location plans which support seasonal strategies

  • Determine sales, markdown rate and optimal receipts at topside level by channel

  • Provide Merchandise Planning Receipt and Sales targets by cluster for assortment planning framework

  • Drive the location planning process through development of door proposals to maximize sales and profitability

  • Corporate Budgeting

  • Participate in Budget process providing history and projected shipping in appropriate templates

In-Season:

  • OTB Management

  • Update, forecast and maintain daily and monthly sales, markdowns and receipts for weekly OTB’s

  • Partner with cross-functional team members (Sales, Merchandise planning) regarding in-season strategies pertaining to markdown (including markdown projections), promotions and inventory shifts.

  • Participate in OTB calls with Account partners and lead our internal OTB review meeting calling out any risks or opportunities to business

  • Current Business

  • Analyze current business, historical results and market trends to proactively identify risks, opportunities and creative solutions to maximize business results in concert with Sales

  • Build effective cross-functional relationships and skillfully navigate/influence business decisions

  • Provide topline insight

  • Prepare and distribute Weekly business update report providing insight into prior week’s performance

  • Prepare recaps for market appointments to present during market

  • Prepare recaps for any Top to Top Meetings and Monthly Management Meetings

  • Responsible for forecasting and reporting door performance

  • Identify and monitor door performance

  • Drive performance in these doors through analysis and partnership with Account partners

  • Focus on maximizing opportunities at the style, class, cluster, region and climate levels

  • Profitability

  • Responsible for projecting profitability KPIs, escalating any potential risks

  • Ensure that strategies to mitigate risk are being executed and communicated

  • Field Merchandising

  • Prepare and Present relevant performance metrics and recaps for quarterly meetings

  • Present Strategies regarding overall financials and channel plans

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 5+ years wholesale/retail planning experience

  • Strong analytical/retail math skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Excellent command of retail math concepts, applications and statistical analysis

  • Ability to think strategically and implement tactically

  • Excellent time management/project skills

  • Ability to multi-task and establish strong cross-functional relationships

  • Strong PC Skills (MS Office, particularly Excel)

  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities

  • Skilled at creating procedures to improve operational efficiency

  • Capacity to establish strong working relationships with peers and cross-functional partners

  • Position based in NYC; ability to work remotely, if needed
