Progyny, Inc. Senior Program Manager in New York, New York

This is a new role that reports to the Director of Product Operations Program Team, working in collaboration with engineering team. Responsibilities include identifying cross-organizational and partner deliverables, developing, and managing timelines and dependencies, identifying risks/mitigations, and ensuring alignment across all teams, leadership and partners leading up to and beyond launch of newly established products. This role requires you to partner closely with engineers, product managers, and manage stakeholders at all levels across all departments within Progyny as well as external partners to ensure new product launches are successful. Post initial launch you will lead efforts to nurture and manage cross-functional coordination to grow the products in market partnering closely with product, engineer, data analytics, marketing, and support services.

What you'll be doing...

  • Nurture strong stakeholder alignment within Progyny at all levels and with external partners.

  • Collaborate with engineering to ensure business priorities are communicated and engineering deliverables are aligned.

  • Own all launch plans, readiness checklists and cross-functional alignment internally and externally.

  • Lead cross-functional teams with engineering, Progyny sales, marketing, implementation, legal, finance, customer success and product teams to ensure continuous alignment.

  • Maintain expert knowledge of Progyny's value proposition and offerings, and proficiently position the company with partners and potential partners.

  • Partner with product, engineering and data analytics to manage and align internally and externally on deliverables and outcomes to accelerate growth of product lines once in market.

About you...

  • 8+ years managing large programs/projects in high-volume healthcare companies
    aligning resources at all levels internally and externally towards successful launches.

  • Strong understanding of healthcare insurance systems, including claims processing, billing, policy management, and regulatory compliance (HIPAA, ACA, etc.).

  • Working knowledge of technology products, typical integrations and experience in creating joint products with other healthcare vendors and services companies

  • Possess exceptional interpersonal, communication, relationship building, organization, and time-management skills

  • Detail-oriented, efficient, organized, resourceful, and highly productive while still seeing the bigger picture

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks at any given time and prioritize accordingly

  • Proven ability to facilitate executive discussion and influence a recommended course of action

  • Ability to establish credibility and rapport with internal subject matter experts and external partners; to collaborate across teams and departments; and to anticipate and manage conflict resolution

  • Demonstrated high skill levels of written and verbal excellence in business writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills

  • Proven ability to adjust quickly and flexibly in a dynamic environment

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a minimal amount of supervision

  • Must have strong ability to influence decision-makers, and proven negotiation skills

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $125,000 - $135,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
