POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Accountant’s primary responsibility is to support the project teams regarding contract modifications, compliance, payments, reports, and any other duties related to the construction projects. Ideally, this person will have a strong worth ethic with a true self-starting mentality; have the ability to work across departments with employees in office and out in the field, and maintain a workload of multiple projects.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Financial: Assist with all project related cost tracking, enter estimates into accounting software, generate monthly corporate reporting packages

  • Subcontractors, as needed: Assistance with documentation and reference checks with projects, paying based on progress payment schedule

  • Manage invoices, payments, and compliance for assigned projects

  • Manage Subcontractor Compliance: Collect and track compliance documentation.

  • Purchase Order and Change Order management

  • Verifying Insurance requirements

  • Other related duties as assigned or needed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Client Billing experience on AIA G702

  • SAGE 300 experience required

  • Experience managing PO’s

  • Construction Management accounting experience preferred, but not required

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related fields

  • Exceptional communication, multi-tasking, and organizational skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)

  • Drive for continued learning and development

  • Problem solver, with great communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION

SilverLining offers a competitive salary starting around $85,000-90,000 based on experience, annual bonus potential, as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
