Amazon Corporate LLC Senior UX Designer in New York, New York

We are looking for a Senior UX Designer to drive the evolution of new advertising products that will better connect businesses of all sizes to their customers. You'll be involved in all aspects of product development from brainstorming the next innovation to working collaboratively with user research, engineering, product management to bring it to life.

Who you are: a seasoned user experience designer who loves learning, and is passionate about conceiving experiences in the abstract and then driving that vision into solid design deliverables such as complex workflows, wireframes, user interface designs, interaction models, and prototypes. You have comprehensive understanding of the current state of web technology and best practices, with a critical awareness of implications on user-centered design and functionality. You are detail-oriented, comfortable working on technical teams, skilled in using data to make decisions and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Our design teams work on diverse customer experience for shoppers, advertisers, and brand-owners globally. The Advertising UX Team includes:

*Amazon DSP*
We're a team of multi-disciplinary UX professionals who own the design for the Amazon Demand Side Platform (ADSP). The ADSP is an enterprise tool that enables professional advertisers to programmatically buy display, video, and audio ads both on and off Amazon at scale. Leveraging Amazon's exclusive data, we build solutions tailored to our customers' unique needs so they can reach their audiences efficiently and effectively around the world.

*Amazon Ad Console*
Our team of UX designers and writers own a suite of end-to-end self-service tools, enabling advertisers to create, manage and optimize their digital advertising campaigns with ease. We work collaboratively with product and design teams across the entire advertising organization to develop holistic solutions at scale. From designing extensible and reusable components, to creating new and innovative ways to simplify complex ideas, our team is passionate about raising the bar for intuitive and easy to use advertising tools.

*Devices, Audio, and Video Ads*
Advertising shouldn't be synonymous with poor experiences. We're a group of multi-talented folks that design across devices and digital services, from motion-rich interfaces like Fire TV, to audio-only experiences like Amazon Music. Many of our tools and applications require rich systems thinking and a passion for making the complex simple. From internal to external workflows, to how we measure, bill, report, and support service requests, we help grow our advertiser's businesses by making their work more efficient, streamlined, insight driven, and action oriented. Our team works quickly to innovate in new spaces, test ideas rapidly, and iterate often. We measure success by improving the usability and efficiency of our ad products, and sustained or increased use of our products by advertisers.

*Supply: Verticals & Emerging Products*
Come create the connection points between shoppers and advertisers. Our team designs, tests, and deploys innovative experiences that help Amazon shoppers discover new products, find inspiration, and connect with brands-globally and at scale. We scale these experiences by developing intuitive tools that allow brands to build and reuse content on Amazon. We work closely with product and design teams across our retail organization. Our work is strategic, high-exposure, and has direct impact on the end-to-end shopping experience of Amazon.com (http://amazon.com/)/mobile app.

*Key responsibilities:*

* Create user-centered designs by considering market analysis, data, customer feedback, user research and technical constraints/opportunities.
* Quickly and thoroughly create user flows, wireframes, design mockups, and prototypes to effectively conceptualize new product initiatives.
* Relentlessly simplify and distill complex processes into intuitive and elegant UI.
* Establish and maintain detailed user-interface patterns and specifications-working closely with developers to see your design through to deployment.
* Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
* Mentor junior talent

* 8+ years of design experience
