Our fast-growing business is rapidly approaching 10 years as a celebrated brand and trusted resource. With a total social audience exceeding 4 million followers across 4 platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Twitter), our social channels are a key expression of our brand. We're looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join the marketing team in our New York City headquarters to drive growth and engagement on our vibrant and innovative social platforms, with a special focus on Instagram. This role will report into our VP of Digital Marketing and manage a Social Media Coordinator. Our ideal candidate will have a deep appreciation of food, home and design - a keen eye for trends, an appetite for continual innovation and testing, a strong brand sensibility and aesthetic sense, superior copywriting skills, and experience collaborating across teams to create and package social-first content. Great candidates must also love snacks.
Ideate and execute timely, innovative daily content to engage our followers across social channels
Build and amplify a consistent brand and channel voice
Grow audience, reach, traffic and sales on social platforms, work closely with VP of Digital Marketing to define goals and benchmarks
Develop and manage social media editorial & merchandising calendar
Work closely with Editorial, Creative, and Video teams to generate original ideas to shape and optimize content needs across social platforms
Analyze and interpret data to provide channel recommendations; developing and delivering regular audience and engagement reporting to key stakeholders
Be ahead of the curve on all things social as well as competitive positioning
Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail in day-to-day work
Partner closely with Senior Growth Marketing Manager to support, inform and ideate on an integrated creative strategy across organic and paid social in support of commerce sales and user acquisition
Work closely with the Advertising/Branded Content team to conceptualize and execute social-friendly branded content
Partner closely with VP of Digital Marketing to craft overall social vision and strategy including platform and content strategies, capitalizing on trends, and synthesizing learnings from past performance and best practices.
At least 4 years of social media experience at a ecommerce, digital media, lifestyle brand and/or other direct-to-consumer company managing multiple social media channels
Experience directly managing and growing a brand’s Instagram presence including but not limited to follower growth and engagement growth strategies
Demonstrated understanding of and ability to develop forecasts for social audience growth
Eye for innovation and the next emerging platform or partner to consider as part of social strategy results
Experience launching Instagram sub-brand channels; including the development of aesthetic, positioning, and voice a big plus
