Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, one of the world's leading global law firms with offices in strategic hubs of commerce, law, and government across North America, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking to hire a Social Media Specialist to join our Creative & Brand Management team.
Reporting to the Digital Marketing Specialist, the Social Media Specialist will be responsible for driving and executing our social media strategy, crafting compelling content to engage and grow audiences on our social and digital platforms, monitoring and managing the firm's social media channels, as well as help push our digital marketing strategy forward through innovative approaches and content.
In this role, you will ideate, develop, and produce visual and written brand authentic, promotional, cultural, and insight driven content (infographics, videos, motion graphics and stories); analyze content and campaign performance; build engagement; and convert followers to active ambassadors of the Morgan Lewis brand and social community.
We are seeking a talented individual who is knowledgeable on best practices and trends in social media marketing, audience segmentation, and understands how to build a digital presence while actively growing our community. This person will be an excellent social media community manager, creative thinker, proactive experimenter, natural teacher, and writer.
As part of our team, the Social Media Specialist will work with a collaborative and agile team of Marketing, Communications, PR, Branding, Creative, Digital, and Web professionals.
This position can reside in our Boston, New York, or Washington, DC office with a hybrid in-office/remote working schedule.
Key responsibilities include:
Identify social media opportunities for the firm, harnessing metrics and other data driven insights to regularly evaluate the performance of our digital and social channels.
Lead and execute social media campaigns, assess key challenges, and develop solutions to optimize future campaigns.
Manage digital content calendars, work with relevant stakeholders to develop, coordinate and execute digital campaigns.
Manage social media channels through organic, paid, owned, and earned initiatives to strategically market Morgan Lewis
Assists lawyers in boosting their social media presence, elevating profiles, and administering training workshops
Experience and qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
5+ years of relevant experience developing and managing digital and social media content and campaigns including writing and community management for professional/consulting services or other global organization
Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with an understanding of individual social channels and best practices
Background in content creation and copywriting and social-specific content creation
Excellent communication skills and creative thinking capabilities, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions; proven ability to derive insights from digital platforms and articulate learnings
Strong combination of creative talent and excellent project management skills; ability to create content in a variety of formats tailored by channel and audience, experience with editorial calendars
"Client service" minded professional that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; Possess strong work ethic with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.; self-motivated with a desire to take initiative and look for ways to improve processes and create efficiencies
Social Listening and paid social campaign experience preferred
Proficiency with social media tools (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, SnapChat, TikTok, Sprout Social, WeChat, Hootsuite, Bitly)
Proficiency with MS-Office (MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel), iManage, Adobe Acrobat, Outlook, and Teams
Familiarity with production software (Sitecore, Siteimprove, Power BI, Google Analytics)
Familiarity with audio/video players and streamers (Apple products, Google Play, Spotify, Vimeo, YouTube)
Ability to adapt to new software programs and enhance technical skills
