Adviser Compliance Associates LLC Solutions Engineer in New York, New York

The Opportunity

The solutions engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, and delivery of client focused solutions related to the ACA ComplianceAlpha platform. This includes implementation, systems integration, upgrades, and client specific customizations for new and existing ComplianceAlpha customers. The individual will ensure the successful and timely completion of these engagements with a high degree of customer satisfaction.

What you'll do:

Oversee product implementation, systems integration, upgrades, and client specific customizations for new and existing ComplianceAlpha customers.

Participate in client/prospect meetings, analyze business and technical issues, define requirements, propose solutions, and draft project plans along with estimated timeframes.

Communicate and manage internal and external implementation / engagement requirements, deployment scheduling, and expectations through the lifecycle of the client engagement.

System Architecture sign off, deployment and configuration of security paradigm, integration with client administration and altering systems, documentation and handoff to support engineers

Maintain partnerships with internal members and partners such as Product Management, Sales, Operations/Support, Development, QA, and other teams involved in scheduling and planning.

Provide application design ideas to improve the product.

Evaluate process and procedures for inefficiencies, and make recommendations for improvement, and drive them through with stakeholders.

Coordinate with Account Management and Sales team for business tracking of assigned projects.

Supervise, train, evaluate, oversee, and provide feedback to junior colleagues.

To qualify for the role you must have:

Bachelor's Degree; computer science, information technology, math, or related field preferred

Skills and attributes for success:

Experience in financial services and / or regulatory industry

Experience with Compliance, Trade Surveillance, Trade Supervisory

Ideally, you'll also have:

Extensive experience working in professional services and client onboarding for an enterprise SAAS platform

Collaborative working style along with a solid understanding of technology tools and applications

Client Interaction, and Organizational skills

Strong Technical skills including REST APIs, .NET, python, familiarity with data models, ideally familiarity with common vendor systems (Salesforce/force platform, Concur, HR IS systems like Workday or Ultipro)

Ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments on matters of significance

Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Strong oral and written communication skills

Willing to undertake minimal travel
