In line with AB’s commitment to diversity and inclusion we are seeking talented, highly-motivated undergraduate students from underrepresented populations in finance who have demonstrated significant academic achievement, intellectual curiosity and an interest in financial services. Our 9-week internship program is designed to provide a select group of students with first-hand exposure to careers in sales, asset management, investment research and financial services.

OUR 9-WEEK PROGRAM INCLUDES:

  • Robust 1-week training program

  • Two 4-week project-based rotations

  • Summer Lunch & Learns Series, Associate Coffee Chats, Social & Networking Events

  • Mentorship

  • End of rotation review process

  • Housing for the duration of the program

Available Rotations:

  • Investment Services: Assist senior members of research and trading teams in analyzing various sectors to identify investment opportunities

  • Sell Side Equity Research or Sales: Acquire expertise in a sector working with a Senior Analyst who is a seasoned industry expert and learn in-depth analysis of the industry and companies

  • Client Services: Learn about specific strategies we offer to clients, business development, client service, marketing and the opportunity to develop strategic communication skills.

Candidates should be top academic performers, be interested in the investment management industry

and meet the following criteria:

  • May or June 2022 Bachelor’s degree candidates

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident

  • Strong communication and demonstrated leadership skills

  • Detail-oriented, ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player

  • Some coursework in finance or economics is a plus

  • Candidates must be available to work full-time from June through August 2020

  • It is not permitted to simultaneously take academic classes or hold other employment

that will conflict with the paid internship schedule

  • Selected candidates will need to successfully complete a thorough background check

  • Students who have already accepted employment for summer of 2021 are not eligible to apply
