Pfizer Inc. Sr. Associate, Biopharma Operations Office in New York, New York

ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Associate, Biopharma Operations Office, will partner with the Biopharma Chief of Staff and Director in delivering commitments and supporting the day-to-day business operations for the Biopharma Office and Group President, through the handling of multiple priorities, decision making processes, and information flow, to ensure deadlines and obligations are met. S/He will contribute to the success of crucial initiatives, providing strategic consultancy and operational support on a varied portfolio of activities. S/He will also effectively execute end-to-end project management of select project responsibilities related to both enterprise remits and Biopharma Office Operations tasks.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the creation and maintenance activities for the Biopharma Operations Office to effectively implement operational plans and priorities
Manage agendas for Biopharma Leadership Team meetings and off-site; coordinate pre-read and presentation materials
Support the quarterly earnings process including updates and edits in WDesk and physical briefing for Group President and CoS
Support Director to manage executive trip planning/virtual market trips process; assist in meeting logistics internationally, working with Pfizer colleagues in other countries; develop travel itineraries and briefings for Biopharma Group President and CoS
Lead and support executive engagement (internal and external) briefing development for Group President
Support execution of Biopharma Leadership Team Engagement and Joy plan; lead on joy activities including Joy on the Agenda and the MBA inspiration ideas
Lead Biopharma Summer Intern Program (i.e. interview and selection process, manage workload, calendar of events, engagements with Senior Leaders, etc.)
Coordinate and consolidate submissions BoD reports
Act as Biopharma Compliance Trainings POC
Serve as the Biopharma contact for Orange and White Book Compliance Trainings
Manage Leadership Team anniversaries, birthdays
Biopharma NYHQ Move representative; manage office move requests for Biopharma to Hudson Yards
Provide back-up administrative support to Group President

Project Leadership
Act as a leader and/or point of contact for select projects, either alone or in partnership, e.g., manage, and as needed, optimize, key filing systems including, OneNote, OneDrive and Teams to increase value and utilization to audiences
Work closely with the Biopharma Chief of Staff and Director to lead various remits and initiatives regarding enterprise business operations
Apply and adhere to financial and compliance systems/processes
Work independently in self-directed environment and take accountability for decisions and outcomes

Organizational Relationship
Partner with the Biopharma Office Operations team and LT to manage day-to-day project management support
Work closely with enabling and partner functions such as HR, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Legal, Digital and Business Development.
Interface with key stakeholders (e.g., DBO's within Biopharma) to manage and coordinate operational and planning needs as well as follow up on action items
Work well with staff located across various geographies, as well as coordinate schedules and priorities

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required
3-5 years related experience in a project management/operational role
Experience in the Biopharmaceutical industry required, familiarity with Pfizer/Biopharma preferred
Proven ability in managing day-to-day planning and operational activities
Experienced in communicating and interacting with senior executive stakeholders
Demonstrated strong self-starter, independent, pro-active, and self-motivated
Experienced in managing multiple, competing tasks simultaneously
Demonstrate expert collaboration and communication skills in a team environment, share knowledge, influence best-practices and coordinate workflow.
Demonstrated understanding of systems, structures, and implementing efficient processes
Demonstrate resourcefulness with proven ability to anticipate needs, prioritize responsibilities, manage multiple priorities with tight timelines, and take initiative with a minimal amount of supervision.
Strong project management and event management skills with demonstrated attention to detail
Possess a high energy level, sense of urgency, creativity, decisiveness, ability to work hard and well under pressure
Ability to exhibit sound judgment in handling confidential information
Ability to work well both in team environment as well as operate independently with minimal supervision
Possess excellent communication skills with an ability to respond with professionalism in verbal and written communications with all levels of the organization
Exceptional proficiency in MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and WDesk are essential
