Job Summary:
MUFG is seeking a dynamic and experienced Internal Communications Engagement Professional to enhance our Internal Communications, Engagement, and Training department and foster a strong organizational culture within the bank. This role will be responsible for developing and executing internal communication strategies that inform, engage, and motivate our workforce and businesses as well as ensuring alignment with the bank's goals and values.
Internal Messaging Development:
Craft clear and engaging internal messages for town hall meetings, ensuring alignment with the bank’s goals and culture.
Collaborate with leadership to prepare and disseminate key updates and announcements.
Internal Program Communication:
Develop communication materials for the internal programs, including key documentations, newsletters, and engagement initiatives.
Coordinate feedback and insights from participants to enhance the program experience.
Newsletter Creation:
Design and produce monthly newsletters that highlight key events, achievements, and important updates relevant to employees.
Collaborate with various departments to gather relevant content and ensure consistency in messaging.
Vendor Interaction and Communication:
Facilitate effective communication with external vendors to ensure seamless collaboration and support for internal initiatives.
Assist in the preparation of materials and presentations for vendor meetings.
Presentation Development:
Create visually appealing and informative PowerPoint presentations for senior management, encapsulating key messages and data.
Collaborate with leadership to ensure presentations are aligned with strategic goals and objectives.
Feedback and Engagement Initiatives:
Conduct regular surveys and feedback sessions to assess employee engagement and improve communication efforts.
Organize and promote internal events that foster a sense of community and enhance employee engagement.
Responsibilities:
Ability to take on work assignments with little direction, create/socialize a plan, and drive to completion autonomously, knowing when to engage for feedback/guidance
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, and an ability to interact with all levels of management
Strong skills in data analysis and a solid understanding of business and financial markets
Solid project management skills with exposure to technology
Ability to analyze employee survey responses, identify and project signs of changing risk levels
Demonstrated track record of delivering positive results and working within time and budgetary constraints
Aptitude to prioritize and analyze a list of measurable product or service characteristics along with associated target values
Proven ability to reach an audience through effective and clear presentations, writing skills and excellent communication strategies
Implements effective training programs that align with the organization's goals and objectives and facilitate reviews with stakeholders.
Identifies multiple paths to success using analytical and critical thinking as well as decision-making skills.
Required Skills:
5+ years’ experience in communications, employee engagement or training role
Previous work at a financial services or technology firm preferred
Experience in planning and executing employee engagement activities and recruiting events
Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically
High level of attention to detail and organizational skills
Proactive approach to work with ability to anticipate needs
Collaborates with other business functions and divisions to advance business objectives
Partner with other organizations within technology to gather information for various newsletters both weekly and monthly
Manage the collection of business unit information for management routines and ensures that deliverables are met on-time
Facilitate the analysis of employee engagement surveys and helping leaders drive action plans and reporting on engagement programs to track recognition efforts.
Hands-on facilitation of engagement events (town halls, employee appreciation etc.)
Facilitating with the summer intern program, assisting in recruiting events, and organizing program activities
Preparing learning paths and helping review and revise training offerings as business priorities shift

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Education:
Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications, computer science, business administration, or Finance related fields.
Other Qualifications :
- As per MUFG’s work policy, must work onsite 4 days and 1 day remotely out of 210 Hudson Street, Jersey City, NJ OR 1251 Avenue of the Americas office.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $149K - $180K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
