GENERAL FUNCTION

Lead &manage daily activities & strategic direction of acct mktg deployment, forecasting, execution & delivery of all acct mktg materials for Oakley & Costa N.A. National Accounts. Lead the development & execution of in-store events/programs with Nat’l Accts Sls Teams designed to drive business by acct, including sales contests, holiday promos, seasonal events, etc., ensuring compliance with Luxottica’s goals, guidelines and objectives. Responsible for the relationship with Nat’l Accts Sales Teams, Commercial Leadership Team, field teams & with Clients for developing & executing programs designed to increase brand visibility/image at POS, brick & mortar & on-line, to drive sell-in and sell-through.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works in conjunction with Sls Team/Brand Mktg Mgrs/Brand Mgr to develop & create a mktg plan designed to drive business, including visual merch tools, sls contests, holiday promos, seasonal events, Loyalty programs etc.

  • Manages strategic development and execution of well-conceived rollout plans (end-to-end) & budgets, aligning cross-functional teams toward flawless execution of strategy, maximizing profitability and ROI

  • Identifies needs & opportunities for acct mktg tools & services in order to drive brand image & business in the market

  • In conjunction with brand mgmt and sales works with the Dir Acct Mktg on development of consumer programs to incentivize & promote category sell-out across

  • Establish regular communication flows & shared KPIs with relevant teams (brand, corporate acct mktg, commercial leadership, etc.)

  • Develops various merch materials & tools for the field sls force (i.e. sls brochures, etc.) to promote sell-out

  • Ensures availability of appropriate trade materials, displays & other POP materials for the field sls Team

  • Identifies needs & opportunities in terms of acct mktg tools & services for the sports category & develops them in an appropriate & timely manner

  • Responsible for running acct mktg programs for both Costa & Oakley NA, ensuring needs are respected

  • Ensures proper usage & deployment of acct mktg materials & svcs for the clients and field sls team

  • Tracks competitive activity, category issues, retail environment & provides feedback to internal resources

  • Supports the Dir of Acct Mktg in preparing, managing & tracking spend of the acct mktg budget

  • Oversees staff responsible for timely execution of all acct mktg initiatives realted to Eyewear and AFA

  • Works with internal acct mktg digital platforms, to ensure proper allocation and distribution of acct mktg tools and solutions

  • Ensures that project/team milestones/goals are met & adhere to approved budgets

  • Oversees digital programs, including a network of digital screens

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s in Business or Marketing discipline

  • 8+ years in acct mktg, mktg leadership, regional or global acct mktg

  • Expert level of understanding in field/acct mktg activities

  • Able to lead multiple projects simultaneously, under tight time constraints and within budget

  • Ability to forecast a number of tools & work with sales reps to determine the trade needs for the Oakley and Costa markets

  • Advanced communications, presentation, influencing & diplomacy skills to use with sr. mgmt level stakeholders, internally and externally

  • Adv level of computer literacy: Excel, Word and PowerPoint
